I agree with everyone else, this is such a cute spoon set and I love that the proceeds go to charity to help make this world just a little better. The spoons are very well made, weighty and I love that the short handle will mean I can fit the bigger one in the container I keep my powdered creamer in and the other will fit where I keep my sugar. Honestly I didn't know what they meant by the thumb indent until I got the set but now I do see how it fits better in my finger, who knew that was even a thing :) My son is a Marine currently deployed overseas and one day he too will be known as a veteran and I can't ever imagine someone treating him less than what he deserves. Our veterans should never be homeless or hungry (in 2020, no one should, whether you are a vet or not) and I love the fact that this company is not only owned and operated by veterans but that they choose to donate all of the proceeds to various charities. I don't know how they can keep afloat but I would definitely buy from them again to do my part to help them. So glad I saw these!

First of all, as a veteran, I was glad to know that Coletti is a veteran-owned company.I give 5 stars to the quality of this scoop. I also got the shinier CoaGu scoop as well (I reviewed that), but prefer the Coletti over that one as the Coletti seems to measure a more even scoop. Due to the shape of the CoaGu, coffee spills over on the handle.Though I knew this scoop had a short handle, I didn't realize how much I would dislike that feature. The scoop would get sunk in the grinds and I would have to dig it out, getting coffee on my fingers. This was a deal breaker for me. I just couldn't understand the appeal/advantage of such a short handle.I scoop coffee out of a bin, but with such a short handle, if you store your coffee in its bag, you would end up wrist deep in the bag to scoop out coffee. I just do see an upside to this design. (Maybe if you are camping and have this in a back pack, it's less likely to break than one with a longer handle???)I have an old Mr. Coffee plastic scoop (cube shaped). The handle is a bit over 5 inches, which seems perfect: it leans against the side of the bin and doesn't sink in. Unfortunately, Mr. Coffee doesn't sell this anymore. (I imagine I got this scoop with a Mr. Coffee maker I bought years ago and has long since expired.)So I will look for a scoop similar in length to the Mr. Coffee and also get the 2 tablespoon size, as that is the amount the Mr. Coffee scoop holds.Once again, these short handle scoops don't work for me and my purpose (scooping coffee), but if you do like a short handle, I would recommend this one.

This thing is heavy, durable, and will last a lifetime. Perfect craftsmanship.

I purchased this set for my toy hauler for when we're camping to go along with the french press from the same company! I couldn't be happier with both items! They have a nice weight and size that fits perfectly in my coffee container. I just ordered 2 more sets of both for gifts because I think they are so amazing! Also, I will always support Veteran owned companies, especially ones that give back as this company does! Buy a set or 3....you won't be disappointed!! (Don't forget the french press.....best one I've ever owned and I'm kind of a french press snob! ha ha!)
