Bronze, not gold.
Easy to use, high quality paint, but the ‘gold’ is more of a bronze color. Not the greatest comparison picture, but the one on the bottom left is gold (mason jar ring) and the others are after one coat of the spray paint. Not the color I was going for, but it was for a small project that I could easily redo if I wanted. But if I was painting something important or that would be expensive to replace, I wouldn’t have been happy.

1920 Jewel lateral reproducer
I rebuild and restore reproducers. I was working on a 1920 Jewel reproducer that looked horrible, it had originally been plated gold, it was now ugly. After I painted it with Rust-Oleum it looked much better and the owner was happy. I chose Rust-Oleum because of its durability. This reproducer is made mostly of pot metal, the Rust-Oleum adhered well and is durable enough to provide years of service. The first photo shows the restored reproducer with a Victor record on an Edison diamond disc phonograph. The second the original brochure.

Not as metallic as I personally hoped, like a brass. More of a gold with a sheen to it.
It isn’t a brassy finish like I’d hoped. It’s more of a gold with a little sheen or sparkle to it. I used it on lamps and I’m happy but it wasn’t what I was looking for.

Perfect gold color
Turned my black vanity gold. Initially I bought a different gold and it was very light, it was more like champagne colored. This was the perfect yellow gold I was looking for. Easy to use, minimal drip, adhered to the metal. Recommend 2 cans to be safe
