Perfect!
When I showed my husband this purchase he was super skeptical it would work but I figured you couldn't beat the price so why not try. This stuff has worked out beautifully for our loft railing. My slats run horizontal and my son is a climber so we worried about that as well as his affinity to "bomb" people from above by throwing stuff through the railing. This netting has solved both issues and was economical and easy to install. I went with the white and with our decor you barely notice it's presence. Overall 10/10 would reccomend trying!

Great safety product, less chasing toys, more time playing with the grandson!
Our living room banister overlooks an L shaped stairway down to the basement with a steep 12 foot drop. There is some wonky spacing of ballisters so we wanted to be sure the netting was there to ptotect our new grandson and give us time to train his curiosity. It really takes two people to install one positioning and holding the netting while the second runs the tie straps in each place. The included tie straps are secure and I liked being able to reposition them (a very positive feature), because we changed our minds on the first few as we progressed. We used the 3m tie down pads on the bottom connection where we have a floor molding and on one end to the wall. The versatility of picking attachment points is excellent and the result is secure. We chose to cut the excess length on the tie straps to clean up the look. We had enough tie wraps and tie downs left over for spares later from both our 5- and 10-foot nets. The result is a safe closure. If they offered a couple of wood tones, I might have picked those for a few extra dollars but really, we're grandparents so I'm happy to explain it if someone notices. Added bonus, less trips down the stairs to rescue escaping toys 🤔 and more time playing with grandson.

Works great for our small dog!
This screen was easy to install and meets the description in the ad. It works very well in preventing my small dog from slipping through a steep stairwell in my home.

Effective and headache free!
Was concerned about how "adjustable" this would be. (Our top-of-stairs gate was a nightmare because of some weird angles and an unusual rail size.) Not a problem. Installs with super-strength zip ties which can (and should) be cut after installation to remove excess (tempting toy and eye poke hazard). Netting beyond what you need is easily secured at the wall-end of the banister (or wherever you need the barrier). Possibly helpful note: If you need to turn a corner with your barrier, you can! Because it is only netting, it will follow the contours of any rail or other "frame" without trouble. Not going to win you any home decorating contests, but not going to give you any headaches either! Was asked to rate "durability." (Shrug.) We installed before my little one was mobile. Now 2.5 yrs old, and no signs of wear. However, worth noting our pets have not chewed or scratched at it, and our kiddo is young enough to not have access to scissors, etc. For our purposes, it has been exactly what we needed.

Quality material and accessories
Bought this product to protect an indoor balcony railing. The net was of good quality with anchoring holes in the perimeter fabric trim every 7 inches, no grommets. Corners are slightly rounded, not square cut. Two different white zip ties are included, both of good quality and more than enough to install. The included anchoring clips are small and sturdy using 3M adhesion tape. I used the clips at both end conditions. The quality of the materials and the accessories make this a good purchase. Highly recommend.

It’s a deterrent and not a solution
This product is a good deterrent for explorative little ones, but is rather useless when it comes to actually preventing them from being able to push through railing posts. The tabs at the bottom are held by a mediocre sticky substance - Like cheap double sided tape. They popped loose with little effort from my 1 year old even after carefully cleaning the surface and applying according to instruction. The zip ties that secure the top are ridiculously long and have to be trimmed or tucked into the mesh. If tucked they pull loose and stick out over six inches. If trimmed they leave a sharp edge that will scratch delicate toddler skin. I myself got a scratch brushing a trimmed one, and the scratch looks like my cat clawed me.It was easy to assemble and works for children who respect boundaries. If your child is explorative this will be wasted money.

Awesome for baby crib!
I used this to line the inside of my baby’s crib so he doesn’t get his foot trapped in between the slats. Bumper guards are illegal in NY because they are dangerous for babies. Even the mesh ones we weren’t able to have shipped to NY. This was an excellent substitute. My child is 18 months old so the mesh netting is safe (I even confirmed with my pediatrician). For very young babies I’d probably wait.As a side note, my baby slept in a pack and play from 6 months to 16 months. The pack and play is not only considering safe for all children to sleep in, it’s certified by the Consumer product safety commission (CSPC) and the American academy of pediatrics (AAP) has deemed it safe to sleep in. The pack and play is surrounded on all 4 sides by the exact mesh netting used in this product. If the baby’s face will get pressed up against the side of this mesh netting, there will be plenty of airflow available to the baby. Therefore I consider this product safe to use as a liner for the inside of the crib (see photos). As a side note- this wasn’t long enough to go all the way around the standard baby crib but covered about 90% of it.
