This is without a doubt the best food we have given our little Maltese girl. We have been feeding her it for 2 months.Ever since she was a tiny pup she had been very very picky with her food. We swapped to Orijen food after a month or two but she needed huge amounts of encouragement to eat, was still missing a meal every couple of days and quite often only ate when we soaked it in warm water.From day one (with it being 25% mixed in with previous food) she gulped it down. She has not once missed a meal (even after being upset after surgery) and is always happy to eat it dry with no soaking.Our girl gets excited everytime we get the bag out, quite often tried to jump on it!She also always used to have the odd loose poop every few days, which we just thought was to do with her eating something in the garden, but ever since we have been feeding this she has not once had a messy one! Perfect colour/consistency, lol.From reading up on the food, the ingredients are top notch and the levels of protein etc are ideal for little dogs like Maltese.Also, on another note, the latest 1.5kg bag has a new type of resealable top. This is much easier and more secure than on previous bag. Good work! I am not sure if this features on the bigger bags yet though.

This is my cavapoos favourite dry food. She is very petite and likes that the pellets are very small. I'm so glad I found it online as my local shop has stopped selling them!

It is a premium food but that comes at a cost, that's the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars, it is a bit expensive

The price we all search the net for, once your dog has chosen the right food, Barking Heads is a great well balanced food for our Dachshund and the convenience and price always seems right for us, highly recommended.

I gave a bag to my son for his chihuahua, he took his dog for usual vet check up, she told my son to stop feeding this immediately as there is to many carbohydrates and not enough proteins so I won’t buy this again

We have used barking heads for our 9 year old Jack Russell since he was a pup and we have gone through a few types as he has aged . This is yet another success . He loves them. We even have our sons cat on meowing heads! Happy healthy animals! Excellent brand.

The best food for an allergic pug - no problem with skin and ears

Habe statt meinem üblichen Hundefutter einen chinesischen Handstaubsauger erhalten, und mein Hundefutter wurde an jemand anderes geschickt, der es wohl nicht brauchen kann, weil er einen Handstaubsauger bestellt hat.Habe versucht, über die Rückgabe den Handstaubsauger zurückzusenden, aber da das Hundefutter von der Rückgabe ausgeschlossen ist, hat das System blockiert.Ist ein Fehler von Amazon, und ich hoffe, dass sie vielleicht auf diesem Weg mitbekommen, dass hier ein Problem ist.Ich habe einen Handstaubsauger, den ich nicht brauche, und mein Hund bleibt hungrig.Ansonsten ist das Hundefutter prima, ich bestelle es immer und mein Hund, der eine Unverträglichkeit bei diversen Futtern hat, verträgt es ohne Problem.

Das Futter hat eine gute Zusammensetzung, die Werte sind auch gut, z.B. das Protein-Fett-Verhältnis. Der Hersteller verzichtet wohltuenderweise auf die inzwischen üblichen tausend Kräuter und anderen Schnickschnack sowie auf Proteinhydrolysate - alles Dinge, die ich nicht im Futter haben will. Es wird gut vertragen, die Akzeptanz ist ebenfalls gut. Bis auf die hohen Gehalte an synthetischen Vitaminen (die ich kompensiere über ein Zweitfutter ohne Zusatz künstlicher Vitamine) ist es für mich also ein sehr empfehlenswertes Futter.
