Heavy, solid and keeps the door from slamming. These work. They look nice sitting out by the door when not in use. They also keep the robotic vacuum from locking itself in a room.

I bought 2 of these to use when I have my front door open. I put one on each side to hold the door open. We get a good breeze coming through and the regular wedge shaped stoppers do not hold the door. These weigh enough that they hold well. The rubber edges keep the metal from damaging the door. I read some reviews that the rubber around the stopper comes off easily, but I don’t find that to be a problem. They haven’t come off, and I pick them up where the rubber gets grabbed. These are nice to look at when in use. They add to instead of taking away from the decor when in use. I think we should get many years of good use from these. We also put another one in the bathroom because the door doesn’t stay all the way open by itself. This works well for that too. The wedge ones are too thick to get under the door and are too light to hold. This just sits against it.

It's easy to move it with my foot so I can close the bathroom door, it has a habit of moving. It keeps the door open and out of the way!

The product although perfect size has difficulty keeping doors with auto shut open. I found if you use a rug as a buffer it works better.

We purchased a few dozen of these for our office space. They hold extremely heavy doors and look really sharp. I love the rubber sides which really grip to the door. 100% recommend.

i use them for both purposes... on some doors, to stop the door from closing and on others, to stop the door from hitting the wall. didn't want to drill into the wall or door. also, most of the wedge type are ineffective and i don't like the other goofy stuff.
