Golden State ArtMetal Wall/Table top Photo Frame Collection, Aluminum Silver Photo Frame with Ivory Color Mat for Picture & Real Glass (8x8, 2-Pack)

The silver color pops just a bit more than regular aluminum and makes the product look a bit more expensive than it actually is. It was very quick to put in pictures and the corner clamps work well. We bought over 20 of these in various sizes to refurbish a wall display (pictured above) and they worked very well. Frames are very nicely packaged and all arrived in perfect order ready to hang.To answer two questions about the picture: laser level was used to project lines on wall, spacing is 1-1/4" between all sides of frames. The "family" script was purchased at a gift shop (Magnolia) in Waco, TX. There are similar signs available on Amazon. Buy one without screw holes and use straight pins to hang the sign for a very clean look. Sizes in our display are 11x14, 8x10, and 5x7. Hard to tell in the picture but against a gray wall, these give a very sleek modern look.Frames marked as "tabletop" also hang on the wall. The back is cleverly designed so that the easel stand can be clipped under a corner spring or left free to use on tabletop. When clipped in back it does not cause the frame to stick out from the wall as many combo frames do.Virtually the only thing I wish these frames had is non-glare non-UV glass, but that would also raise the price significantly. Highly recommend Golden State Art metal frames. We purchased a couple of extra in each size so that we could be sure to keep the wall display consistent as pictures change. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommended.

This frame is very pretty but it was very difficult to put back together after disassembling it to put a picture in it. I’ve never seen a frame with this type of structure to it. It has four V shaped metal bars that are hard to bend with very small tags to put in very small holes. So while having difficulty bending the metal bars, you are trying to find the small holes for it to catch in. I would have returned this frame but I needed it quickly for a gift.

The build is sturdy. And I don’t find the corner metal clips difficult to install. The packaging was very nicely done too with four hard plastic corner covering to protect it.The problem I have was that I intended to hang on wall. However, the sawtooth hangs that came with the frame is too deep in the frame which can’t be hook by the wall hook. I am using the 3M picture hook, which in those case not compatible. I will likely improvise an extension to the hang by using metal wires.

This frame was just a few dollars more than the Tiny Mighty frames used by an artist(Ruby Silvious) whose work I've recently purchased, but are a far superior product. As seen in the images, the Tiny Mighty frame has a corner that has separated (luckily a friend has a clamp to fix this). This frame I purchased is metal and the Tiny Mighty is wood.

This is a nice looking frame and very sturdy. If you like, you can frame the picture using the inside white border around it or take it out and use the entire frame. It was packed well so it wouldn't break. A friend of mine died recently and this frame holds a picture of her. Definitely would buy from them again.

I love that these frames can be used without the matting. Also, they have actual glass, not plastic, like so many inexpensive frames. I did run wire across the backs to hang them on the wall, but it was easy to do and they look great. They provide a simple, clean look

Really well made frame, even nicer than the picture! I was super impressed with how it was shipped as well. It was packaged very tightly with lots of foam and didnt have any scratches in sight.

I never write reviews which is probably wrong since many of the products I order are exactly what I needed and as advertised.This frame wasted not only my money but my time. The back was held on with small pieces of metal that had to be removed and then needed to be reinserted to hold the picture.After 20 minutes of fighting with these clips and a few breaking, I threw the frame in the garbage.Very disappointing. Wish they would allow 0 stars.
