L’Oréal Paris Infallible Paints Eyeshadow Metallics, Brass Knuckles, 0.09 oz.

Maaan, I want that eyeshadow Elephant so bad, but it is $56 dollars (at the time of this post). Yeah it's fancy, French, and charitable. Am I gonna spend that kind of money on a single eyeshadow? Nope. So I hopped on trying to find a dupe. A color dupe, I don't care about the formula, unless it impacts the opacity, etc. I bought a ton of options, and Caged is the closest, so far. Is it as shiny and shimmering as Elephant? I don't believe so, but that is what toppers are for, and I have a ton of those. Is it a weird mix of gray, taupe, and silver shimmer, just like Elephant? It is when it is buffed out all over the lid! Is Caged a perfect dupe? No. Is it close enough to count? It sure is! Save yourself $50 and get this instead.

I cannot even describe how shiny and metallic this eye shadow truly is (but I'm gonna give it a try.)I like to use bright metallic shades on my inner eye corners. I literally used one swipe on my preferred brush, and wham! Instant metallic glow.The price, combined with how very metallic and pigmented this eye shadow is, makes this a must-buy. Do yourself a favor and add it to your collection ASAP!!!

I loved the smooth texture as I applied it to my eye lids. As a mature woman, I was happy to finally find an eye shadow that didn't make me feel like I was scraping my eye lids.

Really pretty grey-ish colour. Not too harsh for day wear, I used a little to add shimmer and depth to my regular eye makeup but you could easily do a dramatic eye with this shadow. I didn't reapply at all throughout the day and it was still visible well into evening. I was expecting to use it in the corners of my eyes for brightening but in on the eye it is a little too dark, it just looks like I have dark circles so I will be using it only as a topper.

This color is gorgeous, however it does get everywhere and require you to go back in with concealer as it moves around. Also and move importantly, something in this gives me a severe reaction. My eyelids itch intensely throughout the day when I wear this and my eyeballs sting, if I wear this two days in a row my eyes are scaly, red, painful, and puffy for atleast a week. Might be expired
