GIFTED HANDS PB

Dion Graham does an excellent job of reading the book. HIs voice carries well and is easy to listen to. The CD has skipped on 4 of the first 6 chapters and I had to start the chapters over. The story itself is ok at at best however this audio version is perfect for all students who have to read this book for school.

I don't care what the media says about this man. The story of his life is so much like the lives of many people. We go through a period in our life where we are angry and make bad decisions. I love that he is willing to talk about how God turned his life around and gave him the desire to move on from his difficult childhood.

I loved this book about Ben Carson. He is today a very talented, gifted specialist in medicine. I have a great deal of respect for him and found the book to be heartfelt, powerful and a testimony of what a man can accomplish with the talents and abilities Dr. Carson had and has still today.

Love the hardback version of this book, and it is hard to find. I bought multiple copies for my students and one of the copies was even autographed by Ben Carson. Many publishing houses have reprinted his book but I found this Review and Heralds edition to be the best and most accurate.

My Mom, 93, is an avid reader and loves biographies. My wife and I saw the movie on TV and immediately thought this would be a great book for her. She read it in a day and a half and it is now being passed around the assisted living facility. The book came on time.
