However... it is too wide for my refillable Tassimo pods!! I didn't think about that. Now reordered and hopefully this will be better.

This feels like a good quality tamper. The tamper is heavy in the hand, weighing over 500gms, which makes it easy to apply the pressure needed to the coffee.My first cup of coffee with the tamper seemed to have a richer flavour which is what you would expect when the coffee is tamped and the water is forced to work its way through all of the coffee.Clearly this is something for anyone with too much time on their hands wanting an OTT coffee experience, but if, like me, you fit this description then I think this will enhance your coffee experience.

It does it’s job well, it’s heavy and looks like a whole piece of steel rather than glued together. Very happy with this purchase!

Very sturdy product

It's great..although it's smaller than I thought..I have both 4 and 6 cup coffee percolator..it fits ok on the 4 cup..the 6 cup is a little smaller..obviously you can still tamper it down..I just didn't realise it was as small as it is.

Great grip (average woman hand) perfect weight. I pop mine on the coffee - gentle twist and take it off. Get your coffee grind right, add perfect weight and you get a lovely smooth coffee with a fabulous crema. So easy to clean. Just a wipe with a soft when needed but it’s so smooth it rarely gets dirty. Looks lovely too.

What makes this work so well is that it has some weight to it. That means that it's easy to compress the coffee grounds before making an espresso.This is made from chrome-plated aluminium alloy and weighs in at 614 grams. It's weight is probably why it works so much better than the plastic ones I've had before.Highly recommended.
