It's in use and has been under water for six ...
It's in use and has been under water for six months... it's a heavy anchor...and it bites very well... held my 35 foot / 8 ton sailboat during Hurricane Matthew...using a 3.5 to 4.0 scope and 50 feet of BB chain for a 14 foot low water depth, with a 8.5 foot tide rise, and even three feet higher during Hurricane Matthew. The price is high, but that's what people are being forced to pay these days. I gave it 4 stars...normally steel is $1.00 per lb.

works
works well for our 29ft cruiser with the windlass anchor system. Have had no issues so far after a few weeks.
