House on the Harbor: A Birch Harbor Novel

The story line was interesting with a few twists and turns but it was so labored. Would have been great if the author got moving faster instead of dragging on. There is a sequel to this first book but I haven't read it. I need something with more action.

I never got into the characters and didn't really like them. Overall they seemed shallow and not fully drawn out. There was a little suspense, but the ending wasn't all that surprising. Won't be reading any more from this series.

This was the perfect read for spending a few hours curled up while the remnants of another hurricane kept things chilly and wet. I've already ordered the next three books in this series, and I can't wait to know more about these four sisters and how their lives progress. This was a fast read for me, but I did manage to escape to a part of the country I've always wanted to visit. Armchair travel in the times of COVID.

Really liked this book. Definite twist in the ending and kept me wanting to read.

Excellent and GRATEFUL this book is available in Large Print. Excited to read it and will be following this author’s work.
