This came exactly as pictured and works as expected. I've had it for over 3 years now. Use it pretty regularly and have never had any issues. It's durable and I feel like it will last another 3 years at least! Trimming wicks is a must, this is easy to use and strong enough that cutting the wick does not require much effort. The flat bottom of the wick trimmer catches the wick when you cut it so it won't fall into the candle. I would buy this again, highly recommended!

As a person who values esthetic I opted to purchase the black wick scissors. I immediately regretted that decision as black scissors trimming a black wick is hard for my old eyes to see because getting old is a delight.That being said the scissors are great quality, sturdy, heavier than I would have imagined them to be. They cut well and are attractive. I just need a flood light to see what I’m trimming.

Didn’t know how much I needed this until I finally bought one. They’re not expensive just something I thought I could live without. But then I just kept picking the wicks with my fingernails because I was too lazy to go downstairs for scissors and my nails would stay black for hours. Finally decided to grab one of these and so glad I did! The part where it does the actual cutting is fading/ peeling the matte black part off a little but the rest of it looks great. Super sturdy and feels like it will last a long long time. I recommend! Would make great gifts too

Nice trimmers especially for the price. They cut wicks well. Update: The tip is kinda blunt so when you cut your wick it can unbraid the wick and cause a small trail of smoke. They are better for trimming already burned candles since the wicks would be a lot softer.

Been using this to trim both standard and wood wick candle wicks. It works great - finger holes are small for my fingers but it's not like I'm doing more than one snip. The design does a good job of catching the part cut off so as to not make a mess of the candle. It's a fairly simple tool but I definitely recommend having one if you like to burn candles!

I needed an actual wax trimmer badly. For the longest time, I was using scissors to trim my wicks. I finally caved and ordered this one. It arrived super quickly and was exactly what I expected! I will admit for years I never trimmed my candle wicks. Now I do every single time. It helps the candle last longer and reduces a bunch of burnt wick cooling in the candle making it ugly. This trimmer works well for it's intended purpose and is sharp. It has some weight to it so it feels fancy and sturdy. I am even able to use it to trim wooden candle wicks. Would recommend.

I bought this thinking I was just going to use it for decor, but I literally use it all the time. Great purchase!! It’s really sturdy and looks cute! My candles even look nicer! I trim the top of the wick and when I light my candle it doesn’t have that pop or soot come off. I feel like my candles last longer and I like how the wick trimmer holds on to the wick tip! Making it mess free!
