The most obnoxious toy beloved by my son
We got this for our son when he was about 6months old. Like every other toy he’s received, there was a delay in the time we got it and the time he started playing with it —which is about 1 month. But from 7 months old to now (16 months) this I has been his favorite toy. He learned very quickly how to press the button to get it started on his own. And Not a single day goes by that he doesn’t press that button. From 9-11 months, he would play with it for close to an hour at a time—which in baby time, that’s years. But, beware of the obnoxiousness that comes with this. Unfortunately there is no sound option, which means it is just constantly on Loud. Also, when you first put the batteries in, the vent is so strong, the balls would shoot out, and because he wasn’t as mobile back then, it would be my husband and I chasing the balls around the living room making him laugh and putting it back in the tube, only for him to start the process all over again—at least until he got more mobile. Why we didn’t take it away you ask? Because we made the decision to buy it for him and he absolutely loved it, so we lived with it.I’ve learned as a parent to not buy obnoxious toys for friends who have kids unless they have expressed consent—why? Because I wouldn’t want anyone buying it for my kid. If this is for your child, I would highly recommend but know that you are making the decision with awareness—As I write this the music with the little “yeah!” Plays in my head on repeat…If it’s for a friend or family member—don’t do it to them (unless you get consent). They will hold it against you for eternity.

Ball-Poppin' Ear-Splittin' Fun!
I see no shame in declaring myself to be a connoisseur of ball poppers for children, so when my wife purchased the Playskool Explore ‘N’ Grow Busy Ball Popper for our infant son I could scarcely contain my excitement. I snatched the box from his tiny little fingers and proceeded to assemble the colorful apparatus. Setup was minimal and straightforward although you will need 4 D-cell batteries to operate it. The batteries are not overly expensive, but it should be noted that they can be used as a fist-loader in a physical altercation.Initially my wife had experienced some trepidation after reading several product reviews that referenced the “loud volume” of the songs being somewhat off-putting. The product description states that “giggles are guaranteed with eight lively songs” and by “lively” they mean ear-splitting and by “giggles” they mean an aneurism. I can only assume that the audio design was borrowed from an Israeli sleep-deprivation device and as such has no way to adjust the volume which is inexorably linked to the triggering mechanism. I was able to mute the volume by removing the case screws and cutting the pair of wires leading to the speakers.I realize that this voids the manufacturer’s warranty but it was unlikely that I would ever find myself demanding a factory repair on a child’s $34 pneumatic ball-ejection device anyway. As a result of this modification the only noises I hear are rushing air mixed with childhood delight.I am somewhat leery of the “mushroom trigger” mechanism as I fear it could encourage hallucinogenic experimentation later in life. After all, why else would a multinational company manufacture a toy that conditions impressionable children to utilize a “mushroom” to produce a “fun sensorial experience?” Go ahead and roll your eyes skeptics, but you’ll wish you had paid a little closer attention to his toys once junior is 19 and the police call you because he wandered naked into a Carl’s Jr looking for his vinyl copy of a Flaming Lips album.I can concur with the 9 months and up manufacturer’s guidelines as my son (who has not yet reached six months) is unable to properly interact with the “shroom plunger.” However, he does seem to enjoy watching it operate as he soils himself.I only wish I could say the same....Overall, Playskool makes a solid ball-popper despite the fact that they market educational toys under a brand-name that consistently misspells the word “school” on its packaging. The ejection mechanism works well and the clear feeder tubing provides a more esthetically-pleasing ball return system than other models I have worked with. Be advised that while it might be tempting to load a hamster into the clear feeder tube but this could prove to be rather unpleasant for both human and rodent. In conclusion, if you are looking for some wholesome family fun the Playskool Explore ‘N’ Grow Busy Ball Popper is for you.

Fantastic Toddler Entertainment- just loud and balls pop out
The media could not be loaded. Rating: 9/10I recently purchased the Playskool Busy Ball Popper Toy for my toddler, and it's been a game-changer in terms of entertainment. The vibrant colors and engaging design immediately captured my child's attention.Pros:1. **Entertaining:** The continuous popping of the balls keeps my toddler entertained for a long time.2. **Quality Construction:** Sturdy and well-built, ensuring durability through active play.3. **Easy Operation:** Simple design for little hands, making it easy for my toddler to interact with.Cons:1. **Loud Music:** The music can be a bit too loud. It would be great if there were an option to adjust the volume or use it with the sound off.2. **Ball Flinging:** The balls tend to fling out quite easily, making it important to use it in a contained area or be mindful of surrounding toys.Overall, despite the minor drawbacks, I absolutely love this toy, and my toddler does too. The joy it brings outweighs the cons, making it a worthwhile purchase. Highly recommended!
