FEL-PRO HS 26415 PT-1 Engine Cylinder Head Gasket Set for Subaru Forester

Used on a 2010 subaru impreza NA, I mainly got this for the head gaskets, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, valve cover, spark plugs, and thermostat. Came with many more gaskets than I needed but maybe one day they will come into use. I did not disassemble the head. But I am still happy I didnt have to go hunting for all the different gaskets. So far no leaks on the head gasket (only have 200 miles on it). I also looked on youtube and sanded the heads with sandpaper on a pane of glass, checked with a straight edge and feeler gauge and got it to .002 over the head.

This is easily the best head gasket set in the market for most Subaru engines. I have bought this set twice and it has yet to fail me. The fitment and smooth operation after install verifies that it’s a good quality gasket set.

Did a full rebuild at 225,000, everything on kit fit perfectly. Just hit 235,00 and all seems well. Recommend getting every resurfaced, do it right the first time.

Everything I needed to replace the head gaskets in my 2011 Impreza and more! I didn't replace all of the gaskets I could have, I don't have all the tools required. However, the gaskets I did use are all of high quality and I feel good about having them in my car.

My second Fel-pro head gasket set in the year. Make sure, double or triple check on other sites to ensure that you are getting the right set. I found many offerings that seemed to be the correct ones, but were not. I checked with Rock Auto and other sites to ensure I had it right.

The media could not be loaded.  All the gaskets and seals in this kit have been great until I got to the valve covers. The gaskets aren't molded properly. Luckily they’re rubber and I can force them into the grooves. I’ve done many of these head jobs on subaru engines and have never had this issue. The other problem I have is this kit does not include the valve cover bolt grommets. I have to go buy them separate. That is also something i have never had to do. Those always come in a head gasket kit or just a valve cover gasket kit. Even cheaper kits have had them. Over all I just hope the head gaskets hold up. Hopefully the issues didn’t go beyond the valve covers.

Original headgaskets failed on my 2008 2.5i ej253 SOHC, at 290k.Had the heads machined / faced (even though they were within spec).Everything you need for the average rebuild. Gaskets are quality, and feel well made. We'll see how they hold up. Have had good luck with fel pro in the past.I'd you're working on an older Subaru, get a set of "coolant crossover pipe" o rings from the dealership, as this kit does not include them.

Used to repair leaking headgasket on 2010 impreza 2.5l. Had more than you need to perform the job yourself which is never a bad thing. Have help up for the past 1000km and hopefully more.
