I put them on my stainless steel wire key chain then attach keys as needed.

I received these well packaged and shipped very quickly after placing my order. I do a lot of Para cord crafts, especially key chains and use a lot of different rings. I like these because of their size. They are well made and very sturdy. They are light weight so they don't add a lot of additional weight to my projects. There are some varieties out there that are more heavy duty than these but I did my homework on the size and thickness and knew these would be what I was looking for. The finish is nice and bright with no sharp burrs. These are small lobster clasps ideal for making a lanyard that you need to unclasp. I use these for my cell phones and iPods since I like to wear a device around my neck. I double-side tape two ends of a lanyard to my phone. I cut the lanyard at the far point and singe the bare ends. I pass each end through the eye of the lobster clasp, single knot it and pull the knot tight. The lobster clasp will not work loose. I am able to now separate the lanyard to free my wired headphone in case of a tangle. It is very difficult to open the clip because the small lever requires fingernail force to open the clip while the base rotates away. I have somewhat remedied the problem by nearly freezing rotation with tape around both sections. The end of the tape further secures the single-knot lanyard to itself. I have used 10 of the 40 clasps so far this morning on 5 devices with a further 5 devices to set up. The prior solution was to Velcro the ends together, but the ends always worked free and the device began to slowly fall free. These lobster clips are a cost-effective solution to my problem.

Kind of smaller than I anticipated, but they will be just as useful.
