Delicious and gluten free
Well, I was 2 years into my gluten-free life before I learned that licorice even had gluten! Uh-oh! But the good news is that in my search for gluten-free licorice, I discovered these. They don't taste exactly like licorice, they are just much much much better.

Gluten free
I have celiac and do regular lucorice is nit a possibility for me. These are a pretty good substitute. A little spendy, so I wait til they are on sale.

These are not the right color red. They are very pale and are not the quality I have bought before
The taste was off and the color is pale when it should be red. I have bought these before and they were great but never again from this seller. Very disappointed

Don't really taste like licorice
I was a little disappointed in the flavor. I bought them years ago in a store and thought they were good. I don't think I will buy again, especially for that price.

Addictive
These strawberry licorice dogs are so delicious. They have a nice chewy texture that isn't too sticky. I love these and could eat a whole bag in one sitting. Package says they are peanut, dairy, gluten, soy, and egg free so great snack for everyone!

Not the same as original
The taste is kinda there but different and texture is way off. Would not buy again

Not like any licorice I have eaten
Red licorice is one if my all time favorite candies but since I try to eat gluten free (not by choice) I can't indulge in my favorite candy Red Vines. That being said a semi local specialty candy store does sell true gluten free "Red Scotties" that look like the one pictured on this package so I was VERY excited. However when I took one from the bag I instantly noticed they weren't the same color (as either the one in the store or the package) or density as the candy store Scotties and didn't even taste like them. Yes they tasted like the advertised strawberry but they are the consistency of a gumdrop and not like the licorices I have eaten MANY times before. VERY dissapointing.
