Almost 5
I bought this group for a 10 speed "trainer bike" that I use mostly indoors. I wanted to upgrade to 11 speed so that I could swap components (when needed) with my other 2 bikes which are already 11 speed. Basically I wanted to have all of my bikes be compatible, which I now have.I broke down this rev into the categories that I think are important:Price - 5It can't get any better for the price range. Half the price of Shimano 105 or SRAM Rival, although it performs as good as Ultegra.Looks - 4.75The components look good. The front derailleur should have matched the color of the rear derailleur IMO. But that isn't a reason to not buy it. Rear derailleur looks badass. The shifters look like the more expensive SRAM Red shifters.Comfort - 5The shifters feel good when shifting or when resting my hands in the hoods.Installation - 3.5The instructions are kind of useless. They make the assumption that the buyer knows how to install and tweak the shifters and derailleurs. To a certain extent derailleurs are pretty similar even from different vendors. I can understand if they don't want to get into the business of printing stuff which obviously costs money but at least give buyers the option to go to a website and see the instructions in a PDF page or what about a YOUTUBE video. Maybe my components were way off but I had to work double time to figure out things and get the correct adjustments. That said it was well worth the time and patience that I put to get the installation right.Operation - 5The installation took longer than I would have wanted... BUT the shifting is probably as GOOD as the Shimano Ultegra (which I have in another bike). Yeah, you have probably read that the front derailleur doesn't have a slack position and it is true, but I think it doesn't need it. I run all gears without chain rub in the front. Rear shifting is fast and precise. Very happy with the way it shifts and in the end having smooth and accurate shifting is what matters most. After a few weeks of use I haven't needed to adjust yet, which would probably be smaller tweaks as the cables stretch overtime.UPDATE - Almost 1 year of use. No mechanical issues. However the hood covers are in bad shape. The rubber has stretched, which feels kind of slippery when your hands are in the hoods.

Great Budget 11 speed
Running the Sensah Empires on my 11speed Carbon Road bike and have logged over 4000mi so far. My impressions are this is a great buy for the cost of an 11speed and I would recommend for anyone trying to upgrade on a budgetPros:1. COST - Cant beat it2. SHIFTING - Really snappy and accurate once you have it fully dialed in.3. SHIFTERS - I believe i have the newer shifters with aluminum internal components so never had any of the cracking issues others had. Also the Empires have one single lever for braking and all shifting (1up shift =2 clicks, 2up shifts=3 clicks, 1down shift =1 click). Also, when you pull the brake it locks you out from shifting. I think these features make it very easy to useCons:1. HOODS - The hoods stretch over time and never quite ever get back to a snug fit. In the summer warmth, they get soft and can move around quite a bit. Beware not to stretch them too much when adjusting.2. REAR DERAILLEUR SETUP - Way too sensitive to every limit screw. Will def take at least 45- 60 mins to get right and even then you will still need to adjust after a few rides.

please read review for front Mech type!!!
I went from 9 speed Shimano tiagra to this, so it can provide me with a closer gear ratio 1 sprocket jumps between the 11cog and 17cog for the flats. And still have the 28tcog when it gets really steep. The kit does not come with a cassette obviously so I ordered a SRAM 11-28 cassette and a KMC 11-speed chain. Installation took me 4hours including all the finishing touches like wrapping my handle bars, indexing front mech and rear mech, replacing my old cable housing w/ brand new ones from Jagwire, etc.. the shifting mechanism is very similar to Sram's mechanical double tap shifters. I am very happy with it's looks and it's shifting performance. important notice: the kit comes with a blaze on front derailleur mount if you're current set up is a clamp type you will have to order a clamp to blaze-on converter like I did (see photos). Also the shifters do not come with new brake cables only new shifter cables so probably a good idea to order new brake cables ,might as well just change the cable housings too w/new ones.

Derailleur nightmare
I got the 2x11 and at best 10 cogs will work. Slipping and skipping gears. YouTube it. Other people having the same issue. These are also the junk Gen 2 with plastic that breaks.

Great value for great shifters.
Great shifters for the money and you get a front and rear derailleur with it! This was a great option to get out of my 10 year old Campy 10spd. Originally was gonna use this on a cx build, but then decided to stick to tried and true SRAM Rival. Rival shifter/brifter and rear derailleur for a 1x was about $100 more. I still think for the money these shifters are greaton my road bike for training and logging miles. Shifts great and love the feel and grip. They are a cross between SRAM and shimano but thebreaks lever does everything.

Really good at this price point.
I got these as a less expensive alternative to the Shimano or Sram systems. These shifters are lightweight and comfortable. I like riding on the hoods. I didn't use the front derailleur as my existing one was pretty good. Install was as expected and not too difficult. Shifting is intuitive but takes a few rides to get used to... the throw to get to a higher gear is a bit more distance than I'd like, but still comfortable. Overall I am happy with this purchase.

Nice system for less money
I use this set up on my Trainer bike, has worked very nicely for 4 months, For the price it is very well made and seems to be strong enough to last for years.

I built a gravel bike with this group with Canti brakes and a 105 compact crankset and an 11-28. You do have to get used to braking as the whole system is in the lever. It shifts really nice and smooth. The front deraileur shifter requires a big swing. I’ve gotten used to it and found the shifters to be quite comfy. I’ve not put a lot of miles on it yet, but I really like it thus far!! The price is perfect!!!
