Had to completely replace my pine privacy fence after last hurricane of 2024. I think the latch itself is fantastic. Very well made, easy to install and it is aesthetically pleasing. Very good value for the money. The lock that comes with it receives an “F” from me. I could not set a combination on it though I followed the directions or at least what I could see of the directions. The print on the directions is so minuscule I was forced to dig up a magnifying glass. I finally gave up and purchased a heavier, stronger lock. However the latch is worth the money and I’m quite happy with it.

I hung this lockable latch on my garden shed doors in minutes. What took too long however, was getting a thin insert made to fit under the draw bolts hasp. That not the latches fault, but rather what was needed by how the double doors overlay each other. The insert was a cross cut piece that would split fastening it to the door surface. It.need two outsized pilot holes for the mounting screws. Outside of that, the latch is ideal, classy, & will likely outlive me.

This heavy duty gate latch arrived on time and in great condition.I just finished building a new tool shed on my property. I'm using the latch to hold the tool shed door closed and locked. The latch was easy to install and included everything that was needed. I'll admit, I used some longer screws for the latch. I did that because I do have some rather expensive tools in the shed. May not have been needed, but it makes me feel better.The latch is designed so that you can use it on a left or right hand swinging door. The whole latch is made from thickened strong metal. The latch has a padlock hole that's large enough to use a full sized lock. Something else that's great about the latch is it's price point. For $9.99 (at time of my purchase) you get a great door latch.I'm very happy to recommend this latch to anyone who needs to secure a door or gate. Buy it with confidence.

Of course I recommend this product, it’s exactly what you see in the picture and it works pretty simply and perfectly good quality came with the screws. I use different ones cause I needed them to go a little deeper. But yeah, fast delivery quality product.

The latch is nicely deigned so a lock can be added but the bend in the bolt needs a little more bending. When it is turned to latch, the locking end goes to the side so the hole for the bolt needs to be more larger the diameter of the bolt. It should be straightened before mounting on a door. Otherwise, it fine.
