Decent pomade - smells fantastic but I found the hold to be weak and the product too waxy. No where near as good as the oil based but not the worst product I’ve used however I can’t say it’s worth the money.

Item arrived covered in white mold. Really disgusting.

My hair: Thick straight hair. People say I have Asian like hair.Goal: To slick to the side/back just with hands and have a natural wet messy look to it. Have natural move. I didn’t want a gel stuff look. I didn’t want greasy look either.Goal Achieved: The product is nice and consistent. One finger amount goes a long way with damped hair. No flakes. Fair volume and wet look throughout the day. I can pass may hands/fingers thoroughly and not have anything on my hand.SMELL: not strong, but it’s alright. I’d like more scent. One full point off because of that.STRENGTH: I’d say 7/10 for sure.Maybe just a bit more shine to it, just a tad bit more. But as it is I really like it.For a natural messy look. THIS IS IT. I am happy with the product. Earned a Loyal customer.Ps. I’ve always had short hair, thanks to this product I will try long hair styles now because I trust this product will do exactly what I want. And yes it need more scent lol that’s it.I don’t want a strong hold, this is like medium hold. Medium shine.

Well, this product is as labeled "Grease". Very difficult to wash out and difficult to manage once applied to hair. If you're into grease product like this product is go for it you'll like it. This is not pomade so read before you buy, I didn't and now I'm stuck with this product.

I’ve been using a Japanese brand of water-based, “exxxtra hold” pomade for years, but it’s becoming harder to get in the US. Tried this as a substitute. It’s not nearly strong enough to tame my wavy hair, and it seems to be drying my hair out in a weird way that no product or shampoo ever has. No bueno if you’re looking for high hold, gloss, or volume. Has an “old school” scent kinda like Three Flowers. Some folks like that; it’s a bit too “teenager” for my use. Works about as well as your typical drug store pomade. Not terrible, not what I was looking for, and definitely not a strong or shiny hold. Washes out easily.
