We purchased the P95 to keep food cool during trips to France. Testing this in the garage with cold water drinks, beer and wine proved successful, running from a spare car battery and also via the transformer / power supply from the mains. In fact the inside temperature was just below freezing after about 12 hours. Reading the instruction manual after purchase reveals that it will only last about 4 hours on the car battery with the engine off, so for longer sea crossings I have rigged up a spare car battery. Halfords for the battery and Maplin for a 12V socket. You need to do a bit of soldering to make the lead from the spare battery to the socket - and then you also have a handy 12V battery system to run things like car air pumps in the garage to pump up the bike tyres etc. The other bit of info is that it needs ventilation, so it must go either on the back seat or in the boot with part of the rear seat layed down. (In the case of an estate car / hatchback - removing the boot lid would work also I expect). The box can also be used as a heater by reversing the connector - but this is restricted to a few hours to avoid the box distorting with the heat. I am unsure why you would want the heater function, but perhaps useful for delivering a takeaway from a far away restaurant.

I used this item FOR my BOAT to keep things cool but unfortunately it did not get very cold when plugged in so thereforethat's why the very low score and considering the cost l was not very happy.

I have only used this as a fridge and asLong as you give the fan room it is really good at cooling and keeping things refrigerated.My main concern is the 12v adaptor which seems to get very hot when using it for a few days on a campsite and plugged into the electric hook up. I end up unplugging it to allow the adapter to cool down (meanwhile this cooler becomes a cool box).

When it arrived, I have to say, I was very disappointed.The sticker that is on the lid (the red stripe) was wonky and crumpled in one corner - slap dash manufacturing and quality control.Some of the inner edges (lid and top of coolbox) are also rough.All of that said, we took it for our first outing this weekend and it kept the food nice and cold - even kept two bags of ice cubes frozen for the whole weekend.So, functionally, it’s greatAesthetically it’s a bit rough around the edges.

I realise it's only a cool box and it's gonna get knocked about a bit and not a Ferrari. However, the finish quality of this thing is bad. Don't get me wrong it gets cold on the inside and is actually fine on the inside but jagged edges all around the outside of box are not only sharp but look dog ruff and makes me question what the build quality is like and how long will it last? And it's not cheap either!

Cools nicely and warms nicely that’s all you need fantastic product!

Seems like a fairly decent product, quite good size but not had a real chance to try in anger, it's a bit annoying you can only power from a battery and not mains, at least there seems not to be a 240 mains power supply for this product. Fast delivery and pretty good value
