Not sure how this worked.
Not sure if TV died, or cable didn't work. Don't care enough to find out. Very reasonable price, so not worth returning.

Broken
It doesn't work. Tried plugging it into both HDMI outlets . Both say no signal. The outlets both work with my cable ,but nothing with this wire

Not really an item that should be listed by amazon - useless cable without converter ability
I cannot fathom someone selling a cable to connect a digital output signal (HDMI source) and purporting it can be used to connect to the more common RCA inputs on many millions of devices out there ostensibly on a prima fascie basis - only to find that the RCA connections out there are in the main analog type input compatible and a cable such as this is only made available for cosmetic purposes as unless it uses the same signal type and is merely a connector type change, or has some converter capability inherent - its completely useless. Any converter out there for HDMI to RCA would have its own proper cable instead - or in any event require a different cable from this one - and so its never conceivably going to be of any use but as another reviewer commented here - a spam or scam item. Oh well, no reflection on amazon, but I wouldn't keep this item on for now. Was only ten bucks however I am taking amazon up on its free postage paid return label offer and am putting it in the mail tonite. ta! amazon is the best in the business!

HDMI to AV - Good but Misleading, Requires more steps
Does what it says.. but on first read before they made the changes.. BE SURE AND READ THE COMPATABILY, it will NOT work with just this cable running HDMI TO AV.. really this cable is just about useless.. YOU MUST BUY THE HDMI CONVERTER, HDMI TO AV.. The little powered box, about 10-20$ well worth it.. BUT this product is what it says it is, just a little misleading if you dont read the small fine print.. IT IS LONG IN LENGTH, made of pretty good quality, durable. Easy plug & play, will NOT convert HDMI to AV by itself..
