Totally bad,cannot be eaten.Jamon smells bad and became stale.

I am born and raised in Spain. I have had the pleasure to enjoy some of Spain's finest foods over the years. As such, I knew what to expect from quality jamón serrano, and this Redondo Iglesias product hit them mark. The presentation is great while minimalist in packaging. The slices thin and trimmed to contain very little white fat. Disclaimer: I personally don't mind the fat - it is flavor packed - but I know many, specially in the US, who prefer as little as possible. If that's you, you'll be pleased. The flavor was great and the texture buttery. Yum. (Sp: Estaba buenísimo) The only negative I find is that it disappears all too quickly. Time to order more. Tip: as with all pre-cut dry cured jamón, flavors and textured are best enjoyed by taking it out of the fridge and opening the package 15 mins prior to consumption to let it reach room temperature and breathe. But if you are in a time crunch you can run tap water (room temperature) over the packaging for about a minute and get pretty close to the same effect.

I bought this for my wife and she was shocked that when it arrived, it did not come with cold pack when it is supposed to be kept refrigerated. When she opened it, It smelled bad and tasted worse than it smelled. Buyer's beware!

The jamón arrived quickly and was so very tasty!

This item is not eligible for a refund, which I otherwise would ask for. This ham had gone bad when delivered. It wasn’t moldy but smelled terrible and I felt it was unsafe to serve to friends. Threw it away, as well as 14 bucks.

I wish I had reviewed the previous reviews who had stated that when they received the order it was spoiled green and moldy and smell bad.. I didn't even want to eat it. I did receive the order within one day but the slices in the package had mold growing and it smelled pretty bad. Do not buy this product. It's a shame I had to throw it in the garbage. Not eligible for a refund.

The ham has met my expectations. the slices separate well and the flavor is very good. I bought a package to test but I will repeat for sure.
