Works great, but use the ideas given here for best results
This bait is very effective. It took me a long time to understand how to use it correctly.Don't put the bait in your house - I didn't make that mistake.Don't put the bait right next to the foundation - it draws ants to the house.Put the bait away from the house - say three feet to start, but soon ten feet or more. This kills the ants and doesn't draw them to your house. The ants take the bait back to their nest and eliminate the colony. Once colonies are gone then the idea is to draw scout ants to outlying bait. This draws ants from outlying colonies which are killed without being drawn into or close to your house. Using this method I've had almost no ants in my house this year vs. hundreds (or thousands, who knows?) in past years. I also haven't had those occasional those swarms around items in a kitchen cabinet or the pantry.

What ants?!
We put these out mid-March and ants formed feeding trails within hours, which persisted for the couple of days before we left town for three weeks. We're now home and we have not seen any ants. Even better, we aren't seeing aphids or mealy bugs like we always got in spring. I don't think it's a coincidence because ants "farm" them for "honeydew," and even fend off predatory bugs. My guess is there's simply less ants around to protect the pests from their natural predators, which are not affected by the baits. I did spray paint the bait containers matte dark gray before putting them out to hide their bright neon green color. Otherwise, far easier and safer than spraying poison, including not having to deal with aphids and mealy bugs, and nice to be able to anchor them to the ground. We're very happy with the results.

Worked where other products didn't
We had ants for months, they were in our walls and would crawl out our electrical sockets, cracks in molding and floor, and out every nook and cranny our old house had. I tried using Ant Spray which would work locally for a few days but the ants would just come out somewhere else. I eventually tried the Terro indoor liquid ant bait which worked well but wasn't sufficient to kill the whole ant colony. I did some research and realized I needed to attack the ants outside my house to really get rid of the problem. My wife broke down in tears one day after ants were in our bed, our dirty laundry, in our kitchen cupboards, toothbrushes, and even in the baby's room. I got quotes from several exterminators whom all wanted $200+ for the first visit. I decided this was outside our budget and I would try to handle it myself. I first used the Terro bait granules in the shaker bag, that product did NOT work. The ants completely ignored it. I did put a couple Terro Indoor Liquid Ant baits outside which worked REALLY well but the liquid evaporated away before the ant colony was completely dead.Enter Terro outdoor liquid ant bait. I could see several ant trails outside my house with ants headed into cracks in my foundation. I placed the outdoor Terro bait right in the middle of those lines and the ants went crazy for it. They loved the bait and IT DEFINITELY WORKED. It takes a few days, even a couple weeks but the ant activity around my house is way, way down. I think I've decimated 5-6 different ant colonies so far and I haven't seen a single ant in my house in several days. I haven't seen a line of ants in my house in weeks which is the first time that has happened since we moved in 6 months ago.I 100% endorse this product, but I do have a few minor critiques.1: I wish I could see the activity inside the trap, I like that the indoor liquid bait traps are transparent allowing you to see if there is still bait present and any ant activity. I have had several traps be completely consumed by the ants until there was zero liquid bait left.2: The included stakes for the outdoor liquid ant bait are useless. The plastic can't penetrate the ground here in California. I use a framing nail instead which works well.3: Even though you're not supposed to I opened my outdoor liquid ant bait traps up after they had been outside for a few weeks. The liquid dries out and gets less viscous after a few weeks. The ants still appear to be interested in it and I tried mixing in just a bit of water which didn't work great. It has been hot here (California), but I'll probably have to replace my outdoor bait traps every few weeks just so they don't dry out too much.In summary: I love these outdoor liquid ant baits and they work extremely well. Saved me hundreds by not having to hire an exterminator.

THANK YOU!!!!
We've had any problems for years in the summer time. Everyone would always be blamed for not cleaning the house enough (Honestly me most the time) till we even got ants crawling in our food and seasonings. Within one week the number of found ants was a fraction. After that week we found a single ant for the rest of the first summer. The effect was even strong enough that our neigbor's ant problem was lessened this year.Pros: Comes with MORE than enough bait for a year or two, even for a larger property.Unless your pets are trying their best to get at it they are at little to no risk of getting ill.Easy to set up and dispose of.Heavy enough that it can stay in place unless your in the middle of a wind storm without the stakes.Comes with free ground stakes to help keep traps in place.Cons: I wouldn't trust it with kids, while the poison isn't the most harmful I can see a child messing with it.The bait is liquid and can splash out of the trap tray so use caution when handling. (Warning manly meant for pet owners)only buy one! I may be stupid and have not noticed but One box does come with a number of traps (6 I wanna say as I'm making this review months after I bought it.) I bought two by mistake but am more than happy enough with the effectiveness to eat the cost and just hold onto them for when they are needed.

Ants can care less about it
Ants don't care about this stuff it was a complete waste of money. This does not work on Odorous ants. The design of it also leaves much to be desired it spills out way too easily. I was also dumb enough to get two boxes of these so I have a box of this useless junk. Going to try Orthro home parameter spray next hopefully that will have better results but I have seen no ants being attracted to the liquid inside of this container and that includes other species of household ants. They all ignore it entirely. The most they'd done is taste it and then move on. What ants do these things even work with? I've yet to find a trap that did what it said. All this does is create a sticky mess for you to clean off your hands and floor when it accidentally spills out.
