This dog was to replace another dog flap we brought from Amazon last year. The door flap on the old one went brittle and broken leaving sharpe edges. So we thought we would purchase one with flexible moving door. It was so easy to fit and is slightly larger and better constructed that the first one. Dogs seem happy with it too

The media could not be loaded.  OK. It feels a little light weight out of the box. I knew from the outset it doesn't seal. But the speed at which Brian exits the flap, the plastic works. It also helps that he can see through it. It does come with a metal plate to stop the pet exiting. I wouldn't put this on a entry door to a house... Its a huge hole and easily broken into. I bought the medium size. I have a secondary door into the house that can be made secure. For the money I'm happy.

Picked this one as it looks good and fitted our existing space. Is nice and quiet when pooch goes through it. Downsides is that the flap is a bit flimsy and doesn't always close flush to the frame. Also it lets draughts through some., but as it's in our conservatory it doesn't matter so much

Brilliant product just what I was looking for.even has a metal panel that slots down in front of flap if u needed when not in use. with pull out solid pin to secure from entering from inside or outside.i use this on a nite when I go to bed if my furbaby sleeps upstairs. Or if he sleeps downstairs I leave it off so he can still use flap through out the nite.well thought abaut device.is super big though but like I said he fits through a treat which is great.flap also a soft flap so easier for them to use.which I now prefer after the old one i had which was a hard flap.shuts flush still though with magnetic bottom so won't blow open.

We have a semi feral cat that comes into our kitchen, he's very friendly and happy sleeping in his bed but odd noises spook him so we've been having to leave the kitchen door open enough for him to make a quick escape. As winter is on its way we've been thinking about putting a cat flap in so we can keep the door closed. A lot of the cat flaps are small and have solid doors which in a quick escape would possibly hurt or frighten the cat. I've noticed the dog doors that are available so I showed them to my husband. We decided on this one as it wasn't too expensive and if the cat didn't like it we could just take it out or just close the it up. My husband fitted it quite easily,there's instructions and a template to cut the hole. We took the soft flap off till the cat gets used to the hole in the door first. When the cat arrived for his supper he just strolled through the hole and he's loving it. We've yet to fit the plastic flap but this kit comes with a metal locking plate that we put in during the night when the cat is out hunting and doing his thing. Well worth the price and a lot warmer than having the door left ajar. The size is the small dog size ( short jack size) I would so, or a chubby cat size in a rush.

We previously had the type with the hard plastic door which kept braking and was noisy. I can’t believe how quiet this door is! I can’t tell when my dogs are coming or going and it hasn’t broken yet as they fly out. Sturdy, well made, quiet.

Bought this to replace a broken brittle old one. Fitted in the original hole with just half an inch extra to saw out of door. Easy to fit once hole enlarged slightly as different make to my old one. Very neat and quiet too when dog and cats go in and out. Would recommend. Medium fits elderly tubby cocker spaniel and sausage dog.

for an inner door it works fine, but for external use it may leak and wind will come in. A good price though and knew from other reviews what to expect. Dog and child friendly :)

Montage très facile avec le gabarit bien qu’il ait fallu que j’agrandisse l’ouverture existante de l’ancienne trappe.Cette dernière était bruyante mais a fait le job pendant des années.Cette nouvelle trappe me paraît solide et le volet souple permet de rendre silencieux les allées et venues de notre bouledogue français qui rentre dedans tête baissé 😁
