Terminal Strip - 5 Lug, 3rd Lug Common, Horizontal, Pack of 5

These are great to have on hand for wiring home brew electronics with a timeless classic look of point to point wiring. In my opinion, it is advantageous to have an assortment of these. This way you will have just the right amount of lugs for the connections that you intend to make. They secure the components physically and electrically to assure long life and dependability in the circuits they are used in.

I used this to upgrade identical terminal strips in some vintage Hafler amplifiers. I liked that the terminals were robust and had a nice sheen instead of a cheap, dull tin look. I hit them with a shot of brake cleaner to remove any factory oils and they soldered easily and properly, no fuss. Instead of cheap fiber the board is a hard phenolic. I'm pleased.

The center lug would be ground on a metal chassis. The other four are floating, used with wiring that will not (usually) be connected to ground or common. These were used well into the late 1950's in electronic equipment.These are good quality and are as expected.

These are excellent. Well made, tough, work great. I wish the price would come down just a tad, or there was a bulk deal but I can’t complain.
