Very poorly designed, major flaws
LOT OF DESIGN FLAWS! After wasting 2 hours trying to get this product to work, I came to the conclusion that it is very poorly designed. The major problem is that the frequency of the unit can't be changed. The range is 100m so this means that if any of your neighbor in a 100m range has a similar product by AcuRite, then your display screen will connect to your neighbor's unit instead of your's. This also means that your product can work for years until your neighbor buys a similar AcuRite product and then your unit will stop working. If i remove the batteries from all of my sensors, my screen is showing my neighbor's AcuRite sensor temperature. I discovered this after spending a lot of time trying to figure out why Sensor #1 was showing -5C temperature when I was testing with the 3 sensors indoor at 20C. Even if I have a sensor set at Sensor #1 right next to the unit, my screen will still display my neighbor's sensor. I wanted my indoor temperature and this unit is displaying my neighbor's outdoor sensor temperature instead... The most weird this is that he doesn't even has the same model, he got the one with only 1 sensor and i have the model with 3 sensors. Seems like ALL AcuRite products are using the same device ID numbers and frequencies and the engineer didn't even design a function to connect to the nearest unit. Even if my sensor is 2 inches next to the unit, it will still connect to my neighbor's outdoor sensor which is 30m away from the unit.I've read the manual 3 times and tested everything possible, but there is no workaround with this issue. Will have to return this item because I can't use and even if I request a replacement it will have the same problem. VERY disappointing from AcuRite.

simply the best! worth very penny
We have been using it for a month and really like it. It is very functional. We hang on the wall. The font is bold and clear, very easy to see.The only thing to note is the calibration step. Ar first, the 3 sensors are not consistent. This doesn't mean it is not working, you just need to calibrate them. To do it, you will need to put them at the same spot for like half a day and then calibrate them to show the same temperature and RH. The user manual has the direction for how to calibrate the sensor. After that, you just set the unit and time/date, and then that's it.We put one the 3 sensors at outside, garage, and basement. We have some food stored in the garage. There is one day that the garage is really hot, like almost 30 degree. We saw the temperature and moved the food to basement, which is the coolest place. We won't notice the hot temperature so quickly in the garage without this little unit. Also, when kids need to go outside play. you can easily know the temperature outside and let them to wear appropriate clothes. I used to check the weather on my cell, or just have to go outside and feel it. Now it is so easy. Highly recommended!!

Easy set up, just added batteries
We needed temperature monitors in our hen house, bee hive and deck. These were simple to operate and not to hard to set the time/date etc. The memory function auto records highs for the day and more. The monitor was to big for the bee hive so it is in the quilt box which and is faithfully monitoring humidity and temp accurately. We have two other makes and all of then are within 1 degree of each other so I cannot say if this unit is more accurate than others..

Works poorly when it works, which is seldom.
I looked good. The price was right. Lots of good reviews. It just doesn't work.I tried messing with it - moving the sensors around to see if there was a range problem. Nope. Same thing: every day or so the sensors just don;t show up anymore. Then, for no reason they all come back on at the same time. Doesn't matter if the sensors are outdoors, in the next room or right next to the base unit. All off or all on. And when they are all on, they read different temperatures and humidity even when all together.I give up. Dumping this (now too late to return it) and will try something else.If you buy one of these; Good Luck.

Works very well in my truck camper!
I have used this for approx. a month now. Very accurate and was easy to set-up. I use this for my truck camper with 1 transmitter in the freezer, 1 in the fridge and the 3rd is mounted in my truck box(outside of camper). Main unit is in my bunk area and all this lets me be sure fridge compartments are cold enough(RV's have crap fridges for the most part)and I can also see how the outside temperature is. Great investment for an RV!
