I'm a curious person when it comes to the flavors of Oaxaca and this collection of sauces didn't disappoint.

I was really hoping to like these, and maybe my own brain got in the way given the ingredients, but these weren't my style. I did enjoy the La Mayor Dinamita one best, but the other two didn't have flavor profiles that paired up well to my preferences.

My husband is a hot sauce aficionado and was absolutely blown away at the flavor of these. I admit that when I ordered it I didn’t realize that crickets were an ingredient for one (Salsa Chapulín) and purportedly worms for another ( Salsa Fuego.) However, this inspired my husband all the more to try them all out! He said there was a balanced and fantastic flavor in each one. The Habenero had quite a punch that he much enjoyed. But his favorite was the Chapulin—not just of the trio, but his favorite EVER hot sauce! They all got a 10 out of 10 from him, and we hope they are sold separately in larger bottles as well so he can continue to enjoy them.
