I was looking for a hat that specifically would protect my ears against the cold wind of Wisconsin winters and this has done a great job. It’s my go to hat for cold mornings at the bus stop and my ears are never cold. I was going to put a fur tassle/puff on it to dress it up a bit but I like being able to pull up my hood without obstruction so I won’t. I find the fleece lining to be the best for wind protection as a liner and this has a good fleece lining.Now would I wear this for extended periods in negative degree weather, no, I’d use a thicker hat than this.

Love the fit and size of this. It’s soft and comfortable. It’s warm up until 20 degrees I would say. I live in the chicago burbs. When it gets 15 degrees or lower I struggle. I work outside all day and this isn’t thick enough or warm enough for colder conditions. Works great with another layer since it stretches. So great in 15-40 degree weather in my opinion. Keep in mind I’m outside for longggg periods of time. Great either way

The hat seems pretty nice, it's well made but it's just too small for my head. I wear 7 1/4" hat size and this hat is very snug and did not completely cover my ears. I gave it to my daughter though and she loves it.

I work at the airport as an aircraft mechanic and boy does it get cold outside,was looking for a winter hat thats was warm and covers the ears that also looks fashionable when wearing casually in the terminal,it took me 5 tries to find this hat,and yes its all that and more.i even ended up buying a couple different colors too.just buy it

I just received this, and the sizing seems like it's more for a woman, as a large is more like a medium. The material seems thin, and it'll probably go in the donation bin as it's not something I'll wear.

I know this fleece-lined hat will keep my head and ears warm while enjoying the cold winter days!

Like the extra long ear covers

Well after putting it on backwards and thinking f*** it look bloody awful, i turned it around and it's great. I could have done with this a couple of weekend ago as i was out and if was freezing.
