I just received the light as I was working on my office and workbench. It came same day on a Sunday which was awesome, yay for Prime! I read through a dozen or so reviews on this one alone, some good, some bad, some indifferent. After removing all the clutter that accumulated from weeks of back to back laptop repairs, I was thrilled to get rid of all that stuff and make the big desk I built live it's full potential and now I think it has everything. This little light has incredible reach, it's fairly bright, it matches the matte white finish of the desktop, and the button works great. Turned right on, no issue. It looks great and I couldn't be happier. Of course it's the first day and this thing might crap out on me but for now, it's working great.I have posted pics of it with the room light on and off. Youncan see its pretty bright. It's also only a 1amp/5v USB connector so you can run it on a battery, laptop, desktop computer, usb plug in on a power supply, you name it.The only thing that doesn't make sense is the button placement. But I'm ok with it for now.

This is the greatest Arm Folding Desk Lamp I've ever owned.PACKAGING: the lamp is well packed and came to me with no damages et all.DIMENSIONS: the lamp is light-weight and easy to install. The lamp will fit various of types of descs (sizes and shapes)FEATURES: Light-weight, easy to install; has three levels of light intensity; low-energy consumption; uses USB-jack as a power supply (laptop, desktop, power-bank, or USB-hub can be used to feed this baby with energy). Cons: adjustment takes some creativity to put it whenever you want, BUT, it is possible just play around if that is your first lamp or the kind. I love the way it can be expanded over my L-shaped desk, thus I have no need to buy an extra light-source.Highly recommended for all!!!Please note that pictures with light intensities were taken with the SAME properties of the camera, which were adjusted regarding a dark room. Thus, you can clearly trace the amount of light directed toward the table depending on the level of the set up.

If you are looking for a moderately priced drafting lamp that functions well but not as picky with how it blends in with your curated office furniture, then this lamp hits the spot. I am an engineering student, so I like my work space to be well lit for hand calculations and for viewing textbooks or reference manuals. I also build gundam models in my spare time, and this lamp provides plenty of light for both purposes. It should be noted that the light color of this lamp is a bright white (there is no yellow hue). At this price point, I couldn't find a better alternative for my needs. I only gave it a 4 star review because I what I was looking for was something that would more permanently fit into a home office decor. (And I'm very particular about what I like.)PROS:-Provides very good lighting.-LED lamp is easy on the energy usage.-Nice white finish doesn't look cheap.-Overall pretty good range of mobility (see cons for issues). The swivel motion of the head joint is very useful.-Lightweight metal arms seem pretty sturdy, with the ability to lock in the middle angle with a knob.CONS:-The actual light fixture isn't made of metal, so it feels a little cheap in comparison to the arms.-While the mobility of the metal arms are pretty good, the head joint pivots in an interesting angle and limits the range to adjust the head to exactly where I would want it. I like the base of my lamp to be out of the way of my study material, so this is a minor disappointment in the design. If you can place the base of the lamp in a way so the arm and head isn't in a 180 degree alignment, this should be no problem.-This is minor, but I would have preferred the base clamp to be flush with the wall when sticking it between the desk and wall. I have to pull my desk away from my wall about 1 inch to fit the clamp.-The switch. Other reviews mention this as well, but the switch location can be inconvenient.-Other LED lamps with different intensity settings usually start with the brightest first. This lamp is reversed and cycles through 3 different intensities, starting with the dimmest setting. This is a con for me, since I usually use my desk lamp at its brightest setting.Although I wrote more in the con list, this overall lamp is great. For a comparable LED drafting lamp that looks good and lights up your surface well, you will dish out $85-100 easy. I highly recommend this lamp for anyone on a budget.

Lamp is excellent. You cannot beat it for the price. It's professional quality studio lighting. I use it for illustration and other fine detail work. I also use it as lighting for photographing final products. The brightest setting is strong, and the dimmest is still enough to work by. You can put the light wherever you need it, I've never seen a lamp with such an adjustable framework. The clamp and overall construction is sturdy. Though my original item has broken (see below) I will probably keep it to use as a stand because you can contort it into so many positions.I've had mine for 7 months and used it daily. It recently stopped working, and when I communicated with the company they were very prompt and courteous and sent me a replacement.
