Philips Replacement Head for Series 5000 Shavers, SH50/52

Previous set of blades was over two years old and definitely needed replacing. This set is of good quality and works great!

These were bought for my son whose shaver needed replacement heads. The size fits the model he has. Was easy to replace and hopefully will last as long as the ones that came with the razor. He did comment to me that he is getting a smoother shave now and it’s not irritating his skin so much. I told him now he knows when his blades need replaced. He knows he has a good razor and it is a sturdy brand so if he takes proper care of it, it should last him awhile. As for shaving distance, that is hard for him to describe other than in his words “ I can feel a difference with the new blades, there is not any stubble.”

For starters, the blades do shave better than the used ones I replaced. So I'm happy about that. When searching for Norelco H9 replacements, these seemed to be the only options from Norelco. It looks like Norelco redesigned the cutters or obsoleted the H9 design. In my originals ... each of the three disks, have three cutters (blades) in three concentric rings. The foils have three concentric perforated rings. These new ones have only one cutting ring. If you look at an original, you'll notice three perforated rings whereas these have only one perforated ring ... the outside ring. As I recall, the three cutting rings per each was a selling point for the shaver. Will I get a better or worse shave as compared to a new original design. I'll likely never know. But I do wish I had read about deep cleaning the originals and using toothpaste to clean up the original cutters. I did save the originals so I can experiment.

These are the only way to go in the shaver. Higher price than aftermarket and the quality shows! No tugging or pulling when I shave. Just as good as the original blades and perform GREAT. Don;t go cheap on replacement blades. Stay with the orginal pe

My shaver went back to giving a satisfying and close shave. I found them a little tricky to install. Surprisingly , though, once I got them in the correct alignment, a tiny twist clicked them into place. I think it would be helpful to be very observant when you remove the old rotors in order to establish clues for alignment. That said, the result was well worth the effort of installation...maybe five minutes.

Good reliable electric shaver replacement heads. No skin irritation.

Last bought this a year ago. The blades were very sharp and lasted pretty much the whole year, just now starting to not work as well. Buying it again. Made in the Netherlands.

Buy this, do not buy cheap imitations from other companies. I had previously purchased replacement heads that were not made by Norelco and they did not shave well, and they pulled whiskers which was very painful. It took more than twice as long to shave with the non-Norelco blades because they worked so poorly and I had to be so careful to try not to pull any whiskers. When I bought the Norelco heads, they worked great, I got a close shave again with no pulling of whiskers. The Norelco heads are worth paying for!

These are fine, but way over priced, and did not last very long. The blades on the original shavers from years past lasted for several years. These blades last for months at best.

Comprei o produto sem saber se iria atender minha expectativa comparando com o produto original, assim que chegou eu já testei e comprovei que ele é tão bom quanto a lâmina que veio no barbeador original, o que veio no original durou 4 anos, se esse durar 2 anos está ótimo, comprei porque eu não lembrava que ao fazer a barba com presto-barta meu rosto ficava com bolinhas vermelhas da lâmina, e com o barbeador elétrico isso não acontece. Recomendo o produto, já estou usando há 2 meses.
