Good quality and function as intended

Ordered on Friday received on Saturday afternoon so good start.I tried to test the panel on Saturday but the weather here in Ballinascreen just wasn't playing ball.The sun refused to come out from behind the clouds but on the up side I was able to test the panels resistance to rain. It held up very well for an hour in the Irish rain.Today at 11.30am the sun came out and I easily got 15watts from the panel charging my son's HTC phone it even went into fast charge.The usb meter I was using at one point showed 7.06v and 2.18A which comes in at 15.3 watts.So for now I'm happy I'll do more testing and report back.

This solar panel first of all charges so well, so fast, and resumption of charge after a cloud passes is instant and automatic on an iPhone or iPad. The panel really differentiates itself from the rest by having USB C-PD which is a very fast charging standard compatible with most phones and tablets. Second of all and not to be understated the panel folds to a tiny size. It is smaller than some panels of less wattage. It’s very durable too. No issues at all and going on several months now. It can charge well in the cloudy UK and also in the extremely sunny and hot US southwest. No temperature issues leaving it in 40 degree heat either, it still managed to charge super well. Extremely durable. I’ve had Anker and other brands of usb solar panels before and this is by far the best!

Brilliant bit of kit. Panels are large enough to kick out power even on an overcast day. Really useful to know if you urgency need a few percent on your phone battery in an emergency. On a bright day the USB-C connect charges by iPhone as fast as it would plugged in to a wall - it takes full advantage of the quick charge capabilities.I use it almost everyday to charge battery banks, which I then use to charge my phone, tablet, laptop, camera, ring doorbell… everything.On a bright day I can charge a 10,000mah battery in a day with no problem. I have a 25000mah battery that will charge in a couple of days. This requires the USB-C output to achieve this level of fast charging.I’ve even put it on my car roof for a day when my alternator died and topped the car battery up enough to start it drive to the garage.In real terms it will take a good few years to pay for what I’m saving on electricity but with more and more appliances using USB I expect that amount of time will come down. And it will now be an essential on holidaysI’m seriously contemplating getting another one

This solar panel was smaller than I expected, however its power output is very impressive, even on a bright but cloudy day. I have tested it with my phone, powerbank and camera batteries. All of the items charged quickly in bright direct sunlight with fast charging from the panel (8.5V - 1.9A), when the cloud cam in it still tricle charged pretty well showing 8.5V - .5A. Couple this with a high quality powerbank and you have renewable energy on the go. Im a photographer and in this digital age everything needs power, I found this panel charged 2 of my camera batteries in a couple of hours in bright direct light which was great. Its about the right size to fit in a laptop pocket on your backpack and comes with a 14v connector should you wish to connect it to a car battery etc. Very impressed!

This bit of kit is ace…. Charges my phone/ iPad in no time. Obviously on clear days. If there’s too much cloud it doesn’t work…It comes will all the cables and links to trickle charge your battery’s etc… I have it hooked up to my leisure battery on the land-rover and it just keeps it topped up.It also comes with two clips so you can hang it at the best angle.Well made and durable.Would recommend
