I like the cotton material, bright colors, and depth of the color. The fact that there is a translation in English is a plus. At last, I know what the prayer says! There aren't many flags on a string and I had to buy three to fit my space, but the flags are larger than most. Yes, they begin to fray almost immediately, but that is the point of prayer flags. They are not printed on both sides, but the printing is high quality and large. They did not smell nearly as bad as some buyers reported, but it may be a problem if they are hung indoors. They are a colorful addition to the yard. They are a bit pricey for so few flags, but that may be due to the cotton material and size. Many flags are polyester, and those become faded pretty quickly.

I would give this 5 stars because its nice quality and I love the english translations BUT....the chemical smell was so overpowering I had to leave the flags outside for 2 months before I could bring it inside. Im pretty sure I'll develop cancer just from unboxing this product.

I received and hung the flags a week ago. I tied 2 sets together. Mine did NOT come with a surged edge, as the description says. The threads are already starting to fray, but that's okay. I hung the flags on the edge of my patio, between me and an angry neighbor. The flags flutter gently in the breeze, sending positive affirmations of PEACE, LOVE, WISDOM, COURAGE, TRANQUILITY into the universe and towards his home. I'm very happy with these flags, and already feel the positive vibes in my neighborhood! :)
