Works 100% with my TP-Link T1700G-28TQ switch.

Installed in Ubiquity USW Pro 48 PoE and it works without any issues.

It works on my Unifi USW-PRO24-POE Switch, giving me 2.5 GB between my router and the network. It will auto-negotiate the speed.

I used this transceiver for a couple of reasons - to free up a LAN port on my UDM-SE, and to future proof myself for faster internet speeds as 10G becomes more prevalent. Still overkill, I know...Installation was a breeze. Installing the unit in an SFP+ port was as simple as sliding it in to the appropriate slot. Rebooting the router and connecting it via an Ethernet cable was all it took. The router immediately picked up the unit as a 10 G port, and some easy configuration allowed me to free up the 2.5 G port to be used as a LAN port.Everything has been working well for the past couple of months, so very happy with the solution!

Finally got around to ditching the Xfinity X1 cable modem for a Motorola MB8611 with 2.5Gb Ethernet. During the process, I found out that my internet speeds had been increased to 1.2Gb. My current connection (modem to UDM pro via CAT6) was limiting my speed. I did some searching and found this SPF+ to Ethernet transceiver.It was immediately recognized by the UDM pro as a 10GbE port. Hooked it to the modem via CAT7, reconfigured the UDM, and rebooted. The interface came right up and the speed test on the UDM pro went from 900Mb to around 1.3-1.4Gb.Definitely an inexpensive upgrade to maximize my broadband speed to the router.
