Men's Digital Sport Watch

I normally like simple watches with hands, but I had a need for a sports-related stopwatch function.This is by far the best digital watch I've ever owned, and it's actually pretty good-looking. The one I received looks exactly like the one in the listing I ordered from in November 2013. I say this because the diagram in the instructions is a little different and the text implies that there are slight differences in shipped models.DON'T LOSE THE INSTRUCTIONS because you won't easily figure out how to set the time and date without them.There are four buttons on the outside. You enter time setting mode hitting button [M] at the lower left 3x, you select the time quantity (rotating through seconds, minutes, hours, day of month, month, and day of week) with the [R] button, lower right, and set the quantity with the [S] button, upper right. The 4th button, upper left, turns on the backlight for a few seconds. The alarm is accessed by hitting the [M] button 2x.The watch is pretty substantial and heavy, with the base of the watch at 5cm diameter and the visible part of the LCD at 2.6cm. The main time and date digits are large, 8mm high, and very easy to read. I have fat American wrists, and the supplied band fits snugly but comfortably at hole 6 of the 9 on the band [I wouldn't want to go out any farther lest the end slip out]. The size doesn't bother me at all.The only question I have about the watch is its durability, I've had it only one day. You will NOT be able to replace the soft plastic band since it appears to be fused to the body. Overall construction seems quite sturdy, though.This is not meant to be a high-end watch, but at this price it's an excellent value. So far I love it.UPDATE April 2016: 2 1/2 years later, it's still doing what I want it to do and is in no danger of falling apart. I'm very glad that I kept the instructions. Really, DON'T lose them. I'm a little dismayed to hear about the stop watch not being usable beyond 30 minutes, but that doesn't affect me. For $10 when I bought it, and $12 now, this still a 5-star value.

Very basic watch only tells time accurately. Also somehow it's very easy to hit the buttons that change all the time etc. It is what you pay for.

Very good, but seems like all of these digital watches are really hard to figure out how to set and use all of the functions. This watch is no exception, but other than that I think it is a very good value.

Update: 3 stars. The stop watch feature does not "fail" at 30 minutes, it reverts to using the micro display for seconds and only showing the minutes on the regular display. This watch is still not useful if your goal is to use it as a stopwatch for more than 30 minutes at a time, however it is not a bug, it's a "feature".I purchased two of these to use as a soccer referee. I have no opinion on the time keeping ability or alarm use as I've only had them for a couple days.As all the other reviews stated the instructions are confusing and the device does some odd stuff with the day of the week icons, but it's usable.However, both watches failed as a stopwatch at 30 as it rolled over to the 31st minute. It just froze with 31 on the display. And as a result, I have not been able to get them out of time-setting mode so I don't know if they are going to be useful for anything.

Worth every penny. Easy to set. Keeps great time. Easy to use. The included instructions were hard to understand and too small to read with glasses. If you have set a digital watch before you can figure this one out.

This is a good reliable inexpensive everyday watch Easy to read and all functions work well. Given the price point I'd give it a five but the band is slightly uncomfortable for long periods of time.

Great watches, large display, can't complain
