Brother LC-75 HY Ink Cartridge Color set BK/C/M/Y 4-Pack in Retail Packing

I was tired of paying $60+ dollars for a set of Brother cartridges and thought for the price why not try these. The packaging is professional and looks like it will store the cartridges well. That's important to me since I rarely use the printer. So far I've only used the black and don't care much about color. When I first replaced the cartridge, it didn't recognize it and I found that the small view port under the tape that you remove had a very very small part of the port blocked. Using my fingernail I scratched it until it looked clear and then it worked. On the half-dozen pages I've printed in the last month the printing is as good as the Brother cartridges.

Long-lasting for the price.And they *very* rarely dry out at the nozzle. Are Brother printers self-cleaning for ink cartridges? I sometimes hear the printer doing something on its own.
