Rogue Spear Mission Pack: Urban Operations - PC

This has to be one of the best games I've owned. The plot is captivating. The action was fast and furious. Weapon selection was by far the best yet that this line has had to offer. All the other perks as well (map editor, terrorist hunt on numerous maps, etc.) were a treat and will have you playing for days. But not all games are perfect and this one is no exception. The game itself is not hard to learn, especially if you have been playing since Rainbow 6, but if you want to explore the game, meaning use the editor, it leaves a lot to be desired. No instruction or even help files. It leaves you out in the cold that way. And still the problem with not being able to play fluently on-line. The server setup is very nice though. Very self-explanatory there. But the load times and speed issue comes into play when your playing. Especially after killing a terrorist and watching him float in mid air. The incredible floating tango. A problem that dates back to the original Rainbow 6. A lot has changed since then too. Better textures, better sounds, better animation all the way around. If you don't plan on playing on-line or can deal with a little lag, this is a must have on your gaming shelf. You'll be happy you spent the money (which is not that expensive. Another nice feature of the game).

I love Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear. I couldn't wait to get this game. I tore it from the hands of the UPS guy and installed it immediately. About 45 minutes later I was triumphant. Very disappointing. I was hoping to be tied up with it for a few days. I liked the new weapons and levels, but for the price I paid, I was very disappointed. I mean, please. . . Even so, the game, what there was of it, was entertaining and suspenseful.

This is a great expansion after beating Rouge Spear and I highly recommend it for those who enjoy the older Rainbow Six games. The greatest thing I like about this game is that the enemies literally go down in one hit without body armor with almost any weapon on you but if they are wearing a vest a head shot would be obvious unless if you are using a high caliber weapon like a rifle. But remember it can be a one shot kill for you and your team as well depending on your armor and your squamates armor so be careful when doing hostage rescue or doing some reconnaissance on a area you don't know unless if you have looked at the map through Youtube.

Have'nt gotten to this one yet.I'm working my way through the games.Bought several of this collection and trying to start at the first,but for me it still gets 5 stars.

I've had it before which why I bought it again. It's a good tactical shooter that requires patience.
