Fits old dot.
I've had my echo dot for about 5 years now and I needed to replace the power cord. This fit just right and works good.

Works for echo dot 4th gen, may require some tape.
It works, but the connection end to the Echo Dot is very, VERY loose. The barrel of the connector doesn't sit all the way in and sometimes the weight of the cord itself will cause it to come unplugged. I put a small cable holder in place behind my device and it seems to be doing the trick.

Rethink your options.
Does not fit the older echo… gen 3 I think. If this is why you are buying this cord please don’t. Can you see how it does not go all the way in? Yeah, so if I move it… it will disconnect. Not a good buy. I have tried to push it all the way in but I didn’t want to ruin the plug itself. I tried twisting and turning but that is far as it will go in. The plug is the right type but not the right size. So if you need the male piece to be longer this is the right size for you. Does not work well for me. I would like the male piece to fit snug. I broke my original plug when I moved. I thought about just cutting the cord and wiring it with a different wall piece. Too much and too time consuming when I can just buy a replacement. So I thought.Functionality: good for other things maybe but not the echo I have.Built: for something else not echo dot.Charger quality: unknown at this point because it keeps coming unplugged.Noise: none that I can hear. Durability: unknown.
