L.O.L. Surprise! OMG Dance Miss Royale Fashion Doll with 15 Surprises Including Magic Black Light, Shoes, Hair Brush, Doll Stand and TV Package - Great Gift for Girls Ages 4+

Allow me to preface my review by saying that I am an adult doll collector, whose love for dolls has recently been rekindled. This is the first doll that I have purchased in quite a while, and my very first OMG doll. She is quite an impressive amalgam of plaything and artwork, as it appears that most of the OMG dolls are; I find myself admiring this doll's many intricate details, but I have not yet freed her from her plastic backing and constraints. I am as giddy as a child on Christmas morning as I anticipate extracting her and all of her surprises! Hoping I can find the time to do so very soon. How ingenious, might I mention, to design part of the box so that it doubles as a display case, and the other part as art to also be displayed? Bravo MGA!This particular doll ( Miss Royale) in the Dance, Dance, Dance line received rave reviews from Amazon, and was awarded a "Best Seller" flag, so naturally, my interest and curiosity were piqued. She has certainly lived up to the 4.9-5 star rating! AND, she arrived two days early!From what I can see, there don't appear to be any major QC defects, although the right side hem of her top appears asymmetrical to the left, but it's possible that it was meant to be that way, though her box artwork depicts both sides as identically symetrical. I'm willing to overlook such a detail, as I absolutely adore this doll! I noticed that some reviewers affixed the article of clothing enclosed in the garment bag as a skirt, because it hangs on the form as a skirt, and it's a little confusing that way. This garment is to be worn as a shrug, around her shoulders and underarms, and resemble frilly, ruffled neckline and layered sleeves, which makes more sense, as she is styled after Marie Antoinette. This is depicted in her Amazon ad photo, but not her box artwork, for whatever reason.I wish that they would have styled her hair a bit more like Marie Antoinette, sky high and adorned with silk ribbons, and long, soft tendrils down her back. However, I still like Miss Royale's hair style enough to keep it as it is.Thank you for reading my babbling review, and I will try to add more photos once I have removed her from her packaging. I love love love this doll!EDIT: Still enamored with this doll, however, upon removing her stockings, there was some staining on her feet, which I will try to remove. And I was under the impression that OMG dolls have the bend and snap knees, like the old Barbies. A tad disappointed that they don't. She still deserves my 5-star rating, though.RE-EDIT: Her knees DO bend and snap, but they have to be loosened up. Be firm, but gentle!

My daughter really enjoyed it. The details, the outfit, and her styles are great. The quality is excellent and it's perfect for any LOL Surprise fan. Totally recommended!

I bought this for my 12-year-old niece who informed me she still collects these dolls, even though she's getting too old to actually play with them anymore. I saw this one and thought how beautiful she looked and decided then and there to pick her up. I love the hair, the outfit, pretty much everything - she's just so lovely to look at. My niece agreed and loved her too. The end result was a great doll at a great price and a happy niece, so I've zero complaints =)

Cute doll gift for granddaughter

My granddaughter's really enjoy the OMG dolls. They are very durable. The girls like changing their hairstyles a lot. The girls ages are 8 and 9.

I thought it was a fair price so I bought it as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. I’m hoping she’ll like it.

My 7 year old daughter loves this doll!! She's a huge LOL fan... I wish she wasn't but here we are supplying more dolls with tons of Itty bitty parts! It's fun for her to open and the little packages and surprises. She continues to play with it.. its a bigger doll so she plays with Barbies with it. As a moms view it's awful! Lots of little pieces and trash to pick up.. thankful this one didn't have glitter or confetti! We understand this is not how little ladies dress and that it's just a costume for the doll...wish it was more conservative but its bright colored and she loves it!
