Replaced my 5 year old one
My truck gives me a warning light if my gas cap has the slightest leak. I have to change my cap about every five years. It works

Delivered ok, works fine
Slight wrinkle in delivery (like anything in 2021) and the gas cap works fine on a Cruze. I got prompt seller help and the item arrived quickly once things were sorted out.The item was chosen as it can be used as a regular gas cap as well as a locking one due to the key positions for both lock and unlock. Keep your old cap in the trunk as a backup!Note: This won’t keep out the cordless drill bandits, but handy for delaying the occasional opportunistic s@umbag.

I recommend
So I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra and it fit well. But you have to play with it so you understand how it works it’s not that to understand it but you need to know how to use it right so you can use it for it’s purpose,

NO LONGER LOCKS
I purchased this to replace the original gas tank cap on my 2006 Toyota Camry after the check engine light appeared. The code reader at Auto Zone indicated that there was a slight leak in the evaporative system. I installed it at the end of May and so far the check engine light has not reappeared so I guess this stoped the leak. A couple months after I installed it however, the lock didn't work anymore. The original cap wasn't the locking type, so I 'll keep this since it took care of my problem. I also purchased the Autel Maxiscan OBD2 code reader along with this ,a combination I would recommend since for about $40 total for both items they potentialy saved me a lot of money I might have had to pay a mechanic.

... me about how even though the fuel cap looked fine, tC's were notorious for having check engine lights ...
My Scion tC's check engine light stayed on constantly until my mechanic told me about how even though the fuel cap looked fine, tC's were notorious for having check engine lights on because of their fuel caps. I got this one, clicked it on and the light's been off since I bought it a long time ago. It also locks, but I rarely lock it and no one's ever tried to get into it without the key so I can't speak to how well it will protect your gas tank from theft or jerks.

Worked for a month, then failed
I used this locking fuel cap in my Chevy Malibu. I used a Stant locking cap for about 6 months, before it didn't work correctly any longer. I thought I would try a different brand. This one was worse. The cap would not seal correctly, causing my check engine light to go on. I purchased another Stant cap because it seems I only have 2 choices. At least I got 6 months of use out of it.
