Work, but flimsy at this length.
Product is as described. Easy to install and fit to size. However you get what you pay for. A bit flimsy but the cost is cheap. Shorter lengths should work better. Wouldn’t recommend for holding back something heavy. 5 stars due to price.

Good
Good for curtains but if you want to hang like plants or anything from them they can take one but they bend a bit

Affordable and Easy Curtain Rods!
These curtain rods are a fantastic find! They’re cheap, easy to install, and perfect for my guest room. I simply pop them up and twist to size, and they stay securely in place. I also use one for a 10-foot curtain covering my kitties' litter boxes and other storage, and it’s durable enough to hold the heavy fabric without a problem. Plus, they don’t leave any marks on the walls. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a simple solution!

Great.
It’s a great inexpensive solution for my basement window shades. Simple and easy to use. Twist to tight and that’s it.

Not great
I’ve had these rods for about 2 days and I’m not impressed. They’re very lightweight and thin, and I was surprised by how light the package was. I have owned other tension rods and they did not come as two parts that you had to assemble, instead you just twist them apart; so this was surprising to me. I think this two piece model is a failing in the design though. There is nothing to ‘click’ the rods together, so even when threading the curtain on to the rod prior to hanging the rods can come loose (I had to start all over because this happened to me). Because of the lightness/flimsiness of the material, my rods also bend a bit in the middle with the weight of the curtain. I am using these for black out curtains (Amazon brand). I don’t think these curtains are all that heavy/great quality, and yet they’re a bit too heavy for these rods. They also don’t have much ‘tension’ and seem to move around a lot once put in place. Once I hung my curtains, I was concerned they would fall with daily manipulation (since they are black out curtains, I’m closing them at night and opening them in the morning, so they are manipulated twice a day). And I was right. They worked ok the first day (with gentle pulling to open the curtains), but on the 2nd morning one of them fell down as I opened them. I will keep trying them for about a week but if this keeps happening I’ll have to return them. These might be ok for decorative curtains, but not to hang ones you actually need to touch regularly. Pros: relatively easy to install, low price, and right size I needed for my windows.

Falls apart easy
Flimsy, cheap. It falls apart at the joint. It’s fine if cheap is what you expect.

Incredibly useful
I have used these to- hang less-used garments high in our very tall closet- Make a rail to hang things on over the sink (I use repurposed shower curtain hooks to hang items)- Hold boxes of yarn in tall closetI was worried that setting the tension very high would cause the metal end of the rods to push through the rubber ends over time but that didn’t seem to happen at allUsed correctly, these things rock. Other reviewers seem to have difficulty, so I’ve made directions below.Directions:- Place the rod in the place it will go- adjust the length to slightly less than the length of the space- take the rod out of place- adjust the length a little bit longer than the space- maneuver them into place by putting one end in the target spot and compressing the rod by hand so that the other end can get into place.- If it’s easy, take it out and adjust it slightly longer. You’ll have to find the feel of it yourself but the compression to make it fit into place is key. My rough take is that the amount of strength used to get it in place is the absolute maximum strength you can think the rod will have when in place.
