Uncompromising Protection in the Outdoors - Coleman 100% MAX DEET Insect Repellent Spray
The Coleman 100% MAX DEET Insect Repellent Spray has become a trusted companion on my outdoor adventures, providing an unwavering shield against biting insects. Designed for those who demand the highest level of protection, this repellent spray delivers potent defense against pesky bugs. In this review, I'll share my experience with the Coleman MAX DEET Insect Repellent Spray and highlight its key attributes. Potent DEET Formula: The standout feature of the Coleman MAX DEET Insect Repellent Spray is its 100% DEET formula, which offers uncompromising protection against a wide range of insects, including mosquitoes, ticks, and flies. When facing particularly dense mosquito populations or in regions prone to disease-carrying insects, the MAX DEET concentration is a reassuring line of defense. Extended Outdoor Coverage: During my hikes, camping trips, and outdoor activities, the Coleman MAX DEET Repellent Spray has consistently provided extended coverage against insect bites. A single application lasts for several hours, allowing me to focus on enjoying the outdoors without the constant interruption of bug attacks. Minimal Application Required: The high DEET concentration means that only a small amount of the repellent is needed for effective protection. A few spritzes go a long way, making the 6-ounce bottle a durable and cost-effective solution that lasts through numerous outings. Quick-Drying and Non-Greasy: The Coleman MAX DEET Repellent Spray has a quick-drying formula that absorbs into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. This feature is particularly appealing during active pursuits, as it doesn't interfere with my movements or become a nuisance during physical activities. Versatile Outdoor Companion: Whether I'm hiking in the woods, fishing by the lake, or enjoying a barbecue in the backyard, the Coleman MAX DEET Insect Repellent Spray has proven its versatility in various outdoor scenarios. It offers consistent protection across diverse environments and activities. Cautious Use and Odor: It's important to note that due to its high DEET concentration, cautious use is recommended, especially for those with sensitive skin or allergies. Additionally, while the repellent is effective, it does have a noticeable chemical odor that might not be suitable for individuals sensitive to strong scents. Conclusion: In conclusion, the Coleman 100% MAX DEET Insect Repellent Spray is a powerful and reliable tool for repelling insects during outdoor excursions. Its potent formula, extended coverage, minimal application requirement, and non-greasy feel make it a valuable asset for those seeking a high level of protection against biting bugs. While it may have a noticeable odor and requires careful use, the Coleman MAX DEET Insect Repellent Spray is an excellent choice for outdoor enthusiasts who prioritize uncompromising defense against insects in a variety of outdoor settings.

The absolute best against insect bites
Mexico, Roatán, Florida… all places where insects used to treat my body like an all you can eat buffet. But my last 4 trips to the islands I’ve used this. Time and again, 0 bites. Light squirt on the ankles, back of neck , wrist. Once in the morning. Once at dusk.(feeding times). No problem keeping mosquitos and sand fleas away.

It works!
It works! Went on an African Safari. NO bites at all. The one day I slacked and used the generic bug spray from the camp site, I immediately got mauled at the ankles and ears (apparently thats where the bugs get you!) . I had to go back into the tent and spray up the Coleman 100. It IS OILY!! Dont let it touch your clothes / socks / shoes. It WILL stain it. Best way is to spray it one swipe close to your skin and then rub it all round. For face and ears, I sprayed the stuff in my palms and gently applied to the face and ears taking care to avoid the eyes and mouth. Dont forget the inner cup of the ear. I have been an outdoor person all my life and struggled with bugs et al. This really worked. The strategy that worked perfectly was to use Permetrin on the clothes before the trip (be sure to dry them after application) and then Coleman 100 (100% DEET) to the exposed skin surfaces.

Effective Repellent with a Caution
I recently purchased the Coleman Insect Repellent Spray, swayed by its promise of a high DEET concentration (98.11%) aimed at providing superior protection against mosquitoes. I must say, in terms of effectiveness, this product does not disappoint. I make many trips to central Mexico, where the relentless mosquitos devour me like an exotic buffet. This product provided an impenetrable shield against mosquito bites, ensuring my outdoor experiences were enjoyable and itch-free. The ease of application and the peace of mind it offers, knowing you're well-protected, are definite pluses. However, it has its drawbacks. The spray is quite oily, leaving a noticeable residue on the skin that can feel uncomfortable during prolonged use. This aspect might not be a deal-breaker for everyone, but it's worth noting if you're not a fan of greasy textures. More significantly, I experienced an unfortunate mishap where the repellent came into contact with my faux leather shoes, resulting in noticeable damage. The repellent's strong formula, while excellent for mosquito deterrence, seems to have a corrosive effect on faux leather materials, eating through them and causing irreversible damage. While the Coleman Insect Repellent Spray stands out for its unparalleled mosquito-repelling capabilities, its oily formulation and potential to damage certain synthetic materials are notable cons. I recommend this product to those looking for adequate mosquito protection, with the advice to use it cautiously around synthetic fabrics and leathers. Despite the mishap with my shoes, its benefits in protecting against mosquito bites outweigh the negatives, making it a worthy addition to your outdoor gear, albeit with some reservations.

Strong but it works
It is very strong which is good for the mosquitoes but not for my sinuses.. I recommend for you to spray this on a rag/clothe first and then rub it on your skin .. but it do works

Works better than anything else out there for serious mosquitos
I attract mosquitos like nobody I’ve ever met. I’ve been at ponds before and seen other people have 1-2 bites at the end of the night. I had about 100 if not more. Seriously, im not kidding. I had bites all over my chest and back...about every inch there was a bite. I just moved to the woods in north Florida and they are TERRIBLE here. I tried several things to stop them. Normal OFF from Walmart 20-40% deet) was ok but still got lots of bites. Permethrin didn’t work at all like people suggested. It is an insecticide and will kill them...but they usually bite you first before dying so didn’t really help me. Tried changing my diet. I tried insect proof clothing that was tight knit which also didn’t work. Finally resorted to a rain coat which kind of worked but was way too hot in the summer. And I looked like an idiot hunting in a raincoat. Getting desperate I gave this 100% deet a try. After reading reviews that it melted sandals and backpacks I figured this stuff may do the trick lol. I couldn’t be happier and am buying more. What would normally be terrible mosquitos at dusk turned out to be none! It was like they left my property. I even had my dog sitting nearby and noticed he was getting surrounded by about 8-10 mosquitos. I didn’t have one near me. This is extremely rare! I’ve tried it a few times now just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke and for sure...this stuff is awesome! I would agree with some reviews that it is a bit oily but heck, it just allows you to rub it in more and get more out of the can you buy. Plus it doesn’t come off easily so you don’t need to reapply like crazy. It hasn’t melted anything of mine but I do go outside to put it on and hold my breath. It does bother my nose if I breath any in (just sneeze a bit). I’ve also done some research on the safety of this stuff and it generally seems safe. Way safer than getting eaten alive by mosquitos. This may be a bit overkill for some people but if you are like me and the mosquitos just love you...then you will absolutely love this product.

Works great but too oily
They did the job when I was in a Central American beach. I didn't get bit by mosquitos and neither did my son. The mosquitos love to have us for dinner but not with this spray on. I knocked out some points for the smell and the oily content. It was just too oily for me.

High quality
The only bug spray I will even use now. Keeps EVERYTHING off of me. I've literally seen bugs get within and inch of me and turn around. Amazing product.
