Didn't sync - updated...great customer service
Didn't work and it was a Christmas gift so no way to return it. Wouldn't sync with my wife's phone. Disappointing.*Updated*After review, the company reached out to me and offered full refund. I just want one that works so they are shipping me a replacement and said they'd support trying to troubleshoot. I was pleasantly surprised by that. Will update once I receive the new one.

Amy's video was extremely helpful
Had some trouble after linking up (which was fairly easy). Westlink tech, Amy, patiently guided me to solve the problem. She actually sent me a video that was easy to follow to the solution. I am guessing that she produced the video. I hope they post it on their website for others to use. Most of the online videos are by folks who speed through the steps too quickly for seniors to follow.

Works Much Better Than Expected
This works much better than I expected. The only problem for me is that the "beep" isn't as loud as I would like, but I have a serious hearing deficiency and those with normal hearing seem to have no trouble, providing the lost object isn't buried under a number of blankets or a cushion on the couch.I mainly use my phone when I am out of my apartment, preferring to use the landline when I am home. I thought this might be a problem but it isn't. No matter how long the phone is off, when I turn it on the tracker and nut soon connect. What happens is when I turn the phone on and click on the "nut" app icon, the app opens with a notice in red that the tracker was turned off at the key. But if I let it sit, within a few minutes a new notice appears in green that lets me know the tracker and nut are connected. How smoothly this works is quite impressive. For attaching the "nut" to my key ring, the double loop provided is a little long. It would be nice if there a hole in the "nut" through which you could put a split ring. The "nut" is powered by a common CR2032 button battery and an extra is included. I'm pleased when a product comes with the required battery, to also get a spare is extremely rare. Replacing the battery when required is easy, just pop the top off the "nut" with a flat blade screwdriver.Included with the "nut" are a spare battery, a small circle of double sided tape if you want to attach the "nut" to some frequently mislaid item, like TV monitor, double-loop "strap" to attach the "nut" to something like a key ring, and an easy to follow user guide. For the "Nut" to work you must first download and install the "Nut" app from the App or Google Play store. You can also get it by scanning the QR code in the user guide. When you open the app the first time so that the "nut" can be paired with the app, you are given 2 choices: "anti-lost" or "find it". I chose the latter. If you choose "anti-lost", every time the "nut" and your phone may be separated by enough distance to be out of range, you're phone is going to start beeping. With "find it", there are no "beeps" until you press a "button" on the app to cause the "nut" to start beeping. Before that, by watching the app on your phone you can see when you are close to what you are looking for so you don't start the "nut" beeping until you are close enough to have a chance to hear it.Sample provided at a discount to test and review.
