I have 21 ear piercings. All but 2, I did myself before I was an adult. Back then it hurt like heck and took forever with an apple, ice cube, and sewing machine needle - now that's OG! Kits like this didn't exist for consumers and I didn't trust the teen employees at the cheesy mall jewelry stores. Recently I wanted to "fix" some piercings that were placed wrong or since migrated too low, so I used this kit to re-pierce new holes in the right spot. The pen in this kit is necessary so you can mark, check, double-check, and pierce in the exact spot you want. I did not feel the first one (other ear) and the other (#5 up pictured here) stung for about 15 seconds because it borders cartilage. No blood, no mess, super quick! They still aren't painful a week later and easy to sleep with. It's important to clean new piercings with Hibiclens in the shower daily and use saline spray twice daily too.

Great quality kit and earrings. These piercing kits are amazing! Seriously. I looked at several brands, but these had good comments from previous users, so I selected these, and I'm glad I did. We bought two sets, and pierced my teen daughters second set of earrings, and added a third and fourth to my ear. They worked great! So simple. Includes everything you need, alcohol pad, marker, etc.This was our best piercing experience. We were in the comfort of home. We marked where we wanted them, and my son lined them up and pierced them. So simple, quick, easy, straightforward. It felt like a slight "flick" to your ear, and it was done. The earrings are beautiful too. The posts are the right length. Great quality. I highly recommend these, and I will be getting two more sets for my daughter's ears. Great product. Shot completely through the first time. Worked perfectly smooth.

I bought this because I wanted to put earrings in my baby, based on the recommendation of a friend who had already used them.So, I tried them on myself first to see if they were really easy to use and to make sure they wouldn't hurt my baby. It comes with an alcohol wipe, a marking pen, and the two pieces with the earring inside. I loved this, and even more so for the price, it's a product worth it because it's precise. I felt a little pressure when I put it in my ear, but that's all; there was no pain. After I tried them on myself, I put them on my baby, and it was super easy. So far, everything has gone well; we haven't had any irritation. I recommend it.

I’m not an expert at all and these made my daughter’s ear piercing experience and fun and memorable one! The hardest part was marking the ears because you never realize how different two ears can be until you go to pierce them. But they turned out great and my 11 year old had little to no pain. I would’ve paid $50+ to have them done professionally and I think they look professional.

Super easy to use on yourself. I used this to repierce a 2nd piercing that had grown up. I used the scar “hole” ans my guide. Easily able to position piercer to earlobe. I didn’t get the “first click” some talk about, just the actual piercer actuation click. Completely painless, no hanging of the piercer to the earring afterward. Leaves two little plastic caps around the stud used to pierce with, that are easily removable after. Highly recommend for anybody that’s been told “you have to get pierced at a tattoo shop”. Do this, you wont regret it.

The piercing gun worked really well—quick, easy, and clean. The earrings are pretty and feel secure. My only complaint is that the 6-prong design tends to catch on clothing or towels, which is painful with fresh piercings. Just something to be aware of. Overall, a great kit for at-home use!

Pain tolerance is subjective, but honestly it was so easy and nearly painless that I had to write a review to rave about it. I just saved myself $90 having a friend re-pierce my thirds with this product! I honestly wasn’t even sure if she pushed it in all the way because I barely felt it. I had my thirds done about two years ago at Target (Rowan) and that actually hurt! I will absolutely purchase again when my daughter decides to get her ears pierced!
