Great wicks for candle making
I am very happy with these wicks. We have used them to make a few small soy candles as well as some melted down and repoured store bought candles (I'm assuming paraffin wax). The inclusion of the double sided tape wick stickers makes it very easy to place and hold the wick to the bottom of the glass jar, and is one less thing to buy if you want to try out candle making for the first time. So far we have had no problems burning the candles - the wicks stay lit for several hours without any problems.Overall I am pleased with these wicks and would recommend them.

They work great!
I have been making candles for a couple of years and have struggled with wicks. They drown out or they don't draw all of the wax. When I saw these I was pretty sure they wouldn't work. They are thinner than others I've used but I have to say, I'm really surprised how well they burn. They are inexpensive, the tabs are so easy to use and like I said, I really like the their performance. These will now be my now go to wicks.

Burns nice and even
Great deal, made many candles for xmas gifts this year. These wicks are very smokey when blew out. Its best to cover and smother them, otherwise they will smoke up the room a bit and smell. Otherwise they have worked perfectly for my 8oz jars and 14oz tumbler soy wax candles.

Use These if You Plan to Start Small
A few details before I start the review: This is my first time making candles, so my work is experimental right now. I am using a thrifted pillar candle for wax, crayons from a Playskool brand 10 pack for dye (and a tiny bit more wax), a dollar store votive that is about 2 inches in diameter, and a P&J Trading brand Bubble Gum scent. I used a single pink crayon, 8 drops of the scent oil, and enough wax to fill maybe 2/3 of the votive. The candle ended up with a dip between the edge of the glass, and the wick.As far as the wick goes, it is sturdy, even with some tugging, bending, and other fussing. The sticker is handy for a beginner; no worries about lining up the base of the wick and then steadily pouring a dab of wax on top. The wick has burned consistently, with no smoke, even after blowing it out and relighting it. It left some wax on the edge of the votive, but I think that's because of the dip that was left in the wax. It looks as though, if my wax is even next time, it will burn all the way to the glass.I took a shot in the dark, as my research shows that wicks can be picky depending on the wax, dye, width of container, and scents used, but I bought these because other reviews reveal them to be versatile, and I did not want to pay the price for a sample pack from another website. So far, I'm impressed, and I can't wait to practice more!

GREAT!
I didn't realize I had gotten so low on wicks and was in dire need so I ordered through my phone app while going to my local craft store to see if they had a few for the wax I already had melted. They did. A pack of 6, 4in wicks was $5.99. That's outrageous! But I needed them, so I bought them. And then I doubled my order of 100, 8in wicks (for 200 total). And these wicks were so long I could cut them in half for my purposes - so really, I got 400 wicks for twice the cost of those measley 6 from the craft store. I've been a candle making fool! Thanks so much!

These work great! I get tons of huge candles that burn to the bottom of the wick but still have tons of wax left around it. I've now been scraping that out and melting it in the microwave and pouring it back in with these or using a mason jar or something with it. Saves me from wasting so much candle wax and gets more use out of pricey candles!

wick performance
I have bought this same wick several times and have been very pleased with the performance. Not sure what has changed but this last order was a huge disappointment. i very much liked that the wick could stand on its own and burned very well in my container Soy candles. Not so much this batch! very sad!

Hard to Keep Wick Straight in a Hot Pour
This is my first time trying these wicks, and I'm using a Soy Wax 464 and Beeswax blend (1 lb Soy with 3 Tblsp white beeswax). I love using the stickers to secure the wicks to the jar, although these stickers seemed a bit bigger than necessary. My only complaint is that these wicks really went limp and crooked after pouring in the wax at about 120 degrees, like the melt point of the prewaxed wick was too low ( or I poured too hot?). It was a battle to restraighten the wicks, much harder than previous pours with other wick products. However I will say the wick burned well in clean in my roughly 2.25" wide jars.
