I have a bad back and a very expensive, custom-made office chair, that had junk casters on it, and they were tearing up my floors! Now I have the wheels on my fancy chair that should've been there in the first place for the $$ I paid for it.Pros: 1) They raise my chair up just a bit, 2) they don't 'speed-roll' so I don't fling myself out of the chair when I back up in it, 3) they're SILENT - no noise. on hardwood or concrete floors, unlike my stock cheap plastic casters, 4) had my old junky casters out and these installed in about 60 seconds.Cons: 1) They look like flashy skateboard wheels - not good in the boardroom, but in my office or on the shop floor this isn't a problem, 2) they take more effort to roll about - not a biggie for me. 5 stars - came fast, did what I wanted, packed well, easy to install - DONE AND DONE.

Just received my set of rollers and installed them. Great improvement from those cheap plastic wheels chairs come with.My studio has carpet and I needed to replace the cheap clear chair mat that was cracking from years of abuse. Decided to go with these wheels as they will likely last a lot longer than another clear cheap mat which btw are more expensive to replace than getting a set of these roller wheels.I was hoping for an extreme improvement when rolling over the carpet in my studio but I still got an huge improvement regardless. I tried these on hardwood floor and wow what a difference. Needless to say I will be getting rid of the carpet later this year.These will also add some height to your chair as they are taller than the stock cheap wheels.

This is the second set of these wheels I have purchased. I received a desk chair for Christmas. I knew these wheels were just the thing for my wood floors. Since this was a new chair, I just installed these as I assembled the chair. The first setI bought a couple years ago was for a chair I already owned. I needed to remove the existing wheels to install the new ones. Takes a few short minutes to replace the wheels on an existing chair. I highly recommend them. They are very quiet and roll smoothly over various surfaces. I tried them on an area rug and they worked great.

Bearings fell out of the wheels after about 2 months of use! and i don't use the chair every day. would not buy these again.

At first I was very cautious about buying these. I didn't think you would be able to feel much difference in the desk chair movability but holy cow! I'm telling people about these and I want to take another set into my chair at work. The smoothness of the chair now able to glide around is truly remarkable. Also, the advertisement is right with the old model of the two wheel set, all kinds of dust, hair, debris can get in and its very dirty. I would suggest purchasing. Easy to install.

very easy to install. The wheels seem to be made of good quality. I have been using on brand new wooden floors for about 2 months of constant use and I have yet to find any scuff marks or scratches. The wheels are very smooth and your chair will glide over the floor. Just be careful while you get used to your new wheels. If you push with the same force as when you tried to move the chair with the default wheels you might have unexpected consequences lol

I had used these to replace old wheels on a massage stool for one of our therapists. She weighs no more than 120 pounds. After a few weeks, they're already bent, squeak, and not holding up. While they look neat, they are NOT sturdy. I just missed the return/replacement date allowed by Amazon by 4 days. Only buy these if it's for super light use.

These roll very poorly, noticeably so. The wheels don't spin with just your finger, as you'd expect them - they stop right away. They're quiet, but the chair feel like it's put on brakes. Returning.
