Nine West Women's Flax Dress Pump

If you're like me and looked at the various Nine West black pumps and thought, "what the heck is the difference between these?," I'm here to help. I tried the Flax, the Jackpot, and the Fifth 9X. The Flax is the cheapie of the lot - it's flimsier than the other two, but still comfortable. The Nine West logo is a sewn-in patch in the heel insole, which also hints at its inexpensive construction. The leather seems thinner than the Jackpot and the Fifth 9X, which is good (it will stretch and mold to your foot) and bad (it will wear out quickly). The Jackpot is better made and has a bit thicker leather, and you certainly can't go wrong with it. The real winner is the Fifth 9X. It has a nicer sole than the others (black, with an anti-skid rubbery section on the front sole, while the others have the standard tan soles), and it's leather is higher quality without being stiff. Oh yeah, you're wondering how they fit? They all fit the same.

Buyers beware - I just got these pumps in the mail and they are fake. I’ll first mention that I’ve purchased these heels from Amazon before with no issues. And I wouldn’t even think a fake/conterfeit would be made for Nine West shoes...I always figured it was high-end designers that get hit with that. But it’s obvious these are not really Nine West shoes. The inside labeling is different than any pair of Nine West shoes I’ve owned, and it’s stitched crookedly. The bottom has the ‘nine west’ and size printed on the sole - both of which are crooked (which is very typical with fake products). The shoes themselves don’t look like the pictures. The sizing is completely off from the other pairs of Flax I own. Really disappointing.

They changed the style of this shoe. I have purchased them before from this listing but this time when they arrived the box indicated they were the new flax (NWFLAX). Unfortunately the new style does not fit the way the old style did. The toe box is not roomy enough anymore and gives a lot of "toe cleavage." I've posted pictures so you can see the difference. You can see that the tan shoe fits around the width of my foot while the black shoe definitively does not have the same coverage. It's a shame because I loved this shoe before they decided to change it. Wish they updated the product information and pictures so their customers would know.... :(

I am very disappointed at these shoes because they were advertised with a black bottom but when I opened the box the bottom of the heels are tan! I was specifically looking for a black bottom and the product picture was different than what was delivered!

During normal wear by the wife, both heals broke off at the same time. Fair enough, probably a weird pair or something. So, she exchanges them and get the new pair by the end of the week. The heal breaks off the next Tuesday. Not sure what's going on, but I don't think she was able to get 5 days of wear between the two pairs combined. Other than that, they seemed nice.

Beautiful shoes they fit as expected.

These are comfortable except for the fact they are mislabeled in size. I order a 6 and received one 6 and one 5.5. The bottom of both say 6, but not the inside. It is actually a 5.5 as it is smaller than the other so these probably aren't 1st quality shoes. Annoying.

Great for work and other casual affairs! I wear an 11w and usually by normal width shoes in my size but if you have big feet this is a great pick!

I love these shoes, am on my third pair. Much cheaper to buy them from the US - similar from Nine West here is £90. Comfortable and secure fit - and they go with everything! The delivery was faster than I had expected too so thank you.

Great shoe! I have a wide foot so I am always weary of buying shoes online. But I was not disappointed. The shoe expanded nicely to the shape of my foot and it extremely comfortable. Much better quality than my Aldo shoes.

Great work heel, right height and comfortable for full day wear.

It could have a little more arch support if you ask me, but overall it's very good quality and looks like it could last for a long time.

Shoe is beautiful, but runs small, buy a size bigger. I had to return it for unavailability of a size that fits me.
