All-Green VC ES 75L-10 75 Litre Paper Compostable Garden Waste Sacks with 10 Bags, Brown

The bag is well made and quite large which is good. Due to a missed garden waste collection I used these bags to put the surplus garden waste in. I had to cut twigs etc down into small bits to prevent them piercing the bag and I ensured that the garden waste was dry before putting it in the bag. It survived well for a week but at the end of the fortnight it was torn at the bottom and I had to use a new bag. I kept the bags out of the rain....I don’t think they would survive much rain especially when full and heavy, probably ok in a short shower.So in summary keep them dry, cut everything up before putting them in the bag and don’t overload the bag.....if you do this they will do a good job as a short term solution.

A lot larger than I was looking for but seem robust. [Had no idea how much volume 75 litre would take up]. I wanted a bag for my shredding that I could just pop into my recycle paper bin without having to empty out the shredding. This will suffice but if I fill it I may not get much else in the paper bin. As they are for garden compost I am sure they will more than do the job. I will try to find something a little smaller next time, but if you are after this size you should give them a try.

Bought to contain shredded documents so the whole bag could be put into paper recycling. The print on the bags suggests designed for garden waste, & only fill approx. 2/3rds. But I turned inside out & filled with just enough room to turn top down & seal/stick down. The bag takes about 7-8 loads from the shredder bin. Pleased with it!

These are large, with a fold over top to avoid spills when taking to tip or compost. They are strong (multi-layered) and I have left them out in the rain overnight and they have dried out fine, just as strong the next day. Obviously they would start to degrade if they stayed out in wet weather, or full of composting material, too long - that’s the whole point!

Fantastic product, very strong and doesn't let moisture out. I have had bags rot away before but I can keep gathering garden waste for days - up to 2 weeks. I will be buying again. Can be used for other waste too, less plastic to landfill.
