CARL Angel Manual Pencil Sharpener, Red

Usual plastic sharpeners were a problem to me & thought to try this. On first use I got confused and thought its not good. Then watch a youtube video of its usage :) then used properly. Its amazing well solid build, and using for more than 3 months now.

Great pencil sharpener! It leaves a nice, long point and doesn't chew the wood up too badly. But it doesn't like round pencils. To sharpen round pencils, you'd have to clamp the sharpener to a table and feed the pencil in by hand. The feed mechanism doesn't grip the round barrel on the pencil well and the pencil turns in the jaws leaving a fairly deep mark all the way around the pencil.

Bonito diseño, resistente, buenos materiales, la punta de mis lápices y colores queda bien.

As a teacher, I constantly have pupils needing to sharpen pencils and this has to be one of the most reliable sharpeners available. Had my last one for 7 years and only replacing it as a student dropped it and broke the handle. When using, the handle slackens a bit to let you know that the pencil is sharp and it seems to work every time.

Cela faisait longtemps que je voulais ce fameux taille-crayon américain et j'ai profité d'une promo pour l'acheter. Malheureusement il ne taille pas du tout (même pas un peu). Je pense que c'est déjà un retour car la boite en carton est écrasée. A noter qu'il est "made in China" alors qu'à l'origine c'était "made in USA" bien que je viens de voir que cette mention ne figure plus dans la description d'Amazon
