Not much to say, works like it's supposed to. Nice feel, nice finish. Simple operation, it's either on or off. I'd buy it again if needed.

I was having issues with battery power to our travel trailer and assumed, after a bunch of troubleshooting, that the original cutoff switch must be bad. I liked the reviews on this one. After installation I found a wire that had come loose from a connector I had installed on the solar battery controller. Duuuuhhh...how I had missed it I have no idea.Once I replaced that connector and wire everything worked great but I do like that when you turn this switch to engage power, it makes a very audible click.Glad I got it

This was added to an older vehicle ('94 Land Rover) that only gets occasional, off-road use. There was not a good location for it on its own so we used a Simpson DPT7Z galvanized deck post tie that mounted perfectly below the windshield wiper frame and had exactly the perfect clearance behind it for the cables (see photo) to be protected but still easily connected.The switch engages with a comfortable bit of tension so you know it engaged. It disengages with a satisfying bit of snap so you know it really disconnected. However the rotor inside the switch is really sloppy and wobbles a lot. The arm/lever connects to the rotor nicely with a phillips screw, but it's the rotor inside the switch that feels like it needs tightening. Maybe someday I'll take it apart and see what's loose, but for now it does its job.

I like these battery disconnect switches and they work great and easily. The only drawback is the need to drill a hole to mount the main shaft through, which is just over a 1/2" in diameter. When drilling through the steel panels of construction equipment, this can be a real chore. Assembly and wiring is straight forward. There is a definite 'positive' click when you flip the switch, giving a solid confidence the switch is where you want it, either in the 'On' or 'OFF' position.

It works great ! I use it as an master switch to cut all current to my 1955 Chevy Bel-Air. It's great for an Anti-theft device ! I left the Phillips screw off of the on/off switch so that I can take the switch handle off and take it with me when I park some where ! Best Investment that I ever made for my Classic Car ! You might want to list it as a safety and a anti-theft device too !
