Harry Potter: Holiday Magic: The Official Advent Calendar

I gave this to my daughter already so she wouldn't buy it for herself. She loves it and can't wait for each surprise.

I like how it came. It's very sturdy. It is for my daughter for Christmas therefore I cannot open it now to really confirm anything but if I can update my review I would.

Great addition for Christmas for person who loves Harry Potter.

We're die-hard HP fans, so having this open each day was such a treat. Only 4/5 stars because about half of the daily items were very cheap, otherwise it is a great addition to your holidays.

This was the cutest and most creative advent calendar we ever had. Each day brought a thoughtful little item- some were useful, some decorative, and some were just for reading. Love it.

I really wanted to love this. Really. It would be unfair of me to say it isn’t a great little advent, because it is. It simply didn’t work for what I had intended. Perhaps I didn’t read the description well enough; or, perhaps, I did but it wasn’t described as fully as I feel it should have.First, there was a pouch/envelope that was already ripped open, so the piece inside came tumbling out upon opening it. Several other envelopes had significant openings/tears where the crease at the bottom or top are—exact same issues and in the same spots as another calendar I ordered and received (different theme). To be fair, that wasn’t a huge deal. Unfortunate, yes. Worth complaining and returning, not at all (for me, at least). I will say that the shipping was on time, which was a positive. I believe it may have even came a day early! That’s always nice.My biggest problem was with what was inside each calendar day. The items were not what I expected. The way I read the description was that it was filled with all sorts of fun items, like a keychain, ornaments and so on. This part is true; however, those items listed were about all there was outside of printed paper items. And by “ornaments”, it means only one hard ornament. The rest are just paper. There was one of each actual “usable” item in the calendar, totaling only a small handful. The rest were all things that were paper print-offs with string to categorize them all as ornaments (I assume). This made the calendar uneventful and unexciting, less than halfway through the calendar days.I will say that this advent is great for an adult/young adult HP fanatic. It is not for kids under the age of 10-12. They will likely be disappointed more often than not.

If your child is a Harry Potter fan - don't hesitate; this one is a huge hit!!My daughter absolutely delighted over the Harry Potter books and has an equal appreciation for the movies. This advent calendar was such a source of joy for her this season. I worried - her past advent calendars have traditionally featured candies, etc. and I worried that this calendar wouldn't pack enough excitement to hold her interest. I couldn't have been more wrong - she was overjoyed with this calendar and delighted in the memorabilia and trinkets each day held for her. She highly recommends!

Really fun advent calendar! I used almost all the items in the calendar to decorate my journal. Even though it will (probably) be a duplicate of everything, I’ll still order it for Christmas 2024. Well worth the price!

Bought this for my 12 yr old daughter who absolutely loves it. I was debating whether to buy because I read the reviews about not being worth the money. I will tell you, it's worth every penny. The advent calendar itself is hard cover and all the items are awesome. So far, she is happy with it. This is something you will not throw away when finished. It's great.
